BEWARE!! If you hire this company to collect for you they will keep the money!! We hired them, they received payment on our behalf as a collection and they have not replied to us to give us our money. BEWARE- DO NOT HIRE THEM!! Its been over a year and they took our money! Stole it and never filed nothing in court. I sent a letter to the attorney general in *******. I hope the ** and the **************** will go after them.Review from Jose N

Stay away from these people. I gave them a job to collect on a client. They don’t respond to me ,they do not call back when you call their office and they give you the runaround. I’ve been waiting for two years to resolve this and no one has gotten back to me. the client who owe me money is no longer taking any calls from anybody. So now I have to hire another lawyer to do the job they were supposed to do.Review from ANGELICA N.

I hired Katz&Levy to get my money back from an unlicensed contractor that took 53k and did not finish my home renovations. I paid Katz&Levy 5,200.00 on 2020 the person in charge ******** *****, was very irresponsible and never call me when I asked. I call them on February 2022 to see if something was done with my case and all I can leave is a voicemail, then the phone got disconnected. I email them and the email address is not good anymore, my emails came back undeliverable. I'm seeking help to get my money back and I don't even know what type of lawyer can help me with this.Review from Waymond W

I submitted a claim to Katz & Levy 1 year ago. In that time they have spoken to me only 3 times. 2 times before filing my claim, then 1 time after filing my claim, only to tell me that my claim was about to be resolved..that was September last year! They have not responded to my calls or emails since!! I gave them $200 to open the case and $700 to file the case! So was i taken advantage of just like I was from the company that they were supposed to be collecting on my behalf?? PROBABLY!!!Review from Stacey Y

Filed a contract with this collections agency for collections for an over due debt from a customer back in May 2021. We still have yet to have an resolution. There is no communication or updates given. Once you get a hold of someone they will take a message. I was finally last advised a month ago that this was a closed case and waiting for a lawyer to release funds. My biggest mistake was mailing them the check when the company finally sent me a check 6 months later. That should have been a red flag for me but that was my mistake. They advised they were processing more fees against the client. I have simply asked to please take out the agreed 20% and mail me a check. Still waiting to hear from someone. I have left messages and emails with no resolution. Please be aware to not use this company.Review from Norma A

Beware of this company, they are not even part of the BBB. They claim they are a collection agency and are trying to collect money from people and I don't believe they are legitimate. Their reprehensive, ******** ****** sounds like a scam artist that goes around threaten people, especially senior citizens, with law suits and subpoenas. They must be reported, don't fall for their lies and threats, they need to be taken to court...

I am ******** ***** from Katz & levy Inc. Mrs. ***** ******* called my client Don's Plumbing Of Citrus County, Inc for a broken garbage disposal. My client went out and replaced it and told Mrs. ******* that they had a one year warranty The first time was on 4/30/20 that the garbage disposal was replaced. Then on June 8, 2021 Mrs. ******* called my client that the garbage disposal was not working if they would come out. My client came out and explained to them that the garbage disposal was passed the warranty date and that they would be responsible for the new one. Mrs. ******* was ok with that. Well when it came time to pay the invoice, Mrs. ******* had excuse after excuse. I was hired to recover the past due invoice and like my client I heard excuse after excuse. Finally she mailed my client half of the invoice with a note that the balance would be paid off. My client did there job and all they wanted to do was get paid. It took four months for half the payment but it took *********** 10 minutes to get her new garbage disposal. Honestly, BEWARE OF THIS CONSUMERCustomer Response

Beware of this company with their LIES. No one told us that the garbage disposal was for 1 year, no one. The plumber told my sister that she didn't have to worry about the disposal BECAUSE OF THE WARRANTY. Don's Plumbing told her that they would look into the warranty and never called back. We assumed that the matter was taken care of only to receive phone calls from *** ***** that told me he would send the warranty to me but all I received was insults from him and more LIES. Honestly, BEWARE OF THESE 2 COMPANIES...
