I received a telephone call from my insurance company USAA on December 9th 2022 from the underwriting department. Information was given to USAA on a background check from Accruint that was outdated and incorrect. I had had a criminal charge in 2015 although since then it had been dismissed and expunged. Accruint, had not updated their data base with the information that these charges were dismissed and expunged. Therefore USAA has been contacting me and because of this error made by Accruint and a current releasing incorrect and outdated information my membership with USAA is in jeopardy and could possibly be canceled or my premiums could skyrocket. I have already contacted Accruint and I have sent them the proper documentation that shows these charges were dismissed and expunged and ask them not to release any other information other than these charges were dismissed and expunged. I was told by Accruint that it could take 45 days for them to investigate and update their database. This is unacceptable, my car insurance is up for renewal and by Accruint releasing outdated information and saying it will take 45 days to investigate and update when this should be done immediately since they have the documents.

I recently signed up for insurance with progressive and on your consumer report you listed my accident from 10/8/2019 as an at fault accident which is causing my insurance rates to be hire. This should be listed as a no fault accident. I was stopped and a red light and was rear-ended. I confirmed with USAA that it was reported as such . I have attached proof from USAA that the other driver was 100% at fault. I need this removed and sent to progessive ASAP

I am rejecting this response because:
This is unacceptable. I am paying a higher premium because of your mistake . I have called USAA and received written confirmation from them that they reported it as a no fault accident . I was stopped at a light and hit from behind. I am going to file another complaint with consumer affairs . No one even contacted me from this business.
      Sincerely,

      *************************

LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team.

For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.  We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach.

If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.  And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution.

Some consumers may elect to not publish the details of their complaints, some complaints may not meet BBB's standards for publication, or BBB may display a portion of complaints when a high volume is received for a particular business.
