I built my house10 years ago. Powerhouse electric were the contractor for all the electrical work. Powerhouse advised that I use a Clipsal electrical control system rather than Lutron with which I have had good experience.Powerhouse assured me that Clipsal is part of ********* Electric, which also owns ****************** it is not widely used in ******* and they have withdrawn the product from the ** market, I have become totally reliant on Powerhouse for any work and reprogramming.Recently they have been very unresponsive. Most recently they deliberately made false statements to avoid coming to do minor reprogramming (details below). Details of false statements:Five weeks I had a chance encounter with the Powerhouse employee who did the original work, ***********************. I told him I had been trying to reach him directly and the company for several weeks but did no get any call back. I told him about the minor programming I needed and asked him to stop by my house at any time. I called him several times and did not get the courtesy of a reply.After two weeks I called the owner of the company, ***** and asked him for assistance. He undertook to have ****** attend to my request. When nothing happened I tested *****. He replied ".... C-Bus dropped out of the business and left all the electrical contractors dry.... ". (I have a screenshot of his text available.)This is categorically untrue!I contacted Clipsal directly and they immediately provided a link for me to download all the necessary software for free and access to a tutorial on how to use it. I was able to populate the entire system at my first attempt. Although I am a pretty tech savvy 71 year old, I find the labelling on the original plan extremely hard to decipher and I need someone to decipher the labels so I can do future programming myself.
