I hired mark ******************** to install kitchen cabinets. He was referred by a friend of mine She told me he was the best and he Would do a wonderful job. He came to my house and measured for the cabinets and texted me everything that he needed. When he arrived to install them I had everything ready for him. He proceeded to take down all my cabinets and haul them all away. Then the nightmare began. At the end of the day He went through what he did and showed me that the bottom cabinet door under the sink would not open all the way because my oven was in the way. I asked him why that happened and he said when you buy stock cabinets thats what you get. The next thing he did wrong was hang my microwave off-center from the stove. He said he did that because he didnt think the cabinet would hold my microwave and he couldnt use fillers because it would weaken the cabinet. The next thing is that he installed The cabinets over holes in my wall that were made when he took down the Formica. He also installed my dishwasher right next to the wall with no filler so when you open the door it slightly rubs. I bought fillers for the cabinets but he did not use any He told me he didnt need them and he told me to take them back. I was so displeased with the job that he did I had a kitchen design expert Come to my home and look at his work. She felt very sorry for me she couldnt believe the shoddy work. I asked **** for Half the money back So I could use it to take down his work and re-order cabinets to fit and end up with a beautiful kitchen. He refused To give me any money back. He said it was his decision on the work that he did and that he knew that I was on a budget and he did what he could with what he had. He said it was his decision and hes standing by it. Remember he was the one that texted me what to order. I have pictures of his work and Texts that were written back-and-forth to prove that this situation happened. The money paid to him was for labor only
