This company signed a contract with me for a 40X90 metal building. They took a deposit of $16,426.00 dollars and have not responded to my calls or emails. The contract was signed in July of 2021 and the approved plans were signed by me in December of 2021. I received an email stating they received the approval and have been unreachable since.Initial Complaint

I paid Classic Metal Buildings a deposit of $11,501.00 for a 40x60x16 steel building. Since then, I have not received any information about the building. I can't even get good contact information from them. The owner/address is:*********************************** ******************************************************** I found that they used other names for their business:Classic Steel Buildings Fortress Metal Buildings **** ********* etc.Initial Complaint

On 10/13/2021 we entered into a contract with Classic Metal Buildings for a steel building kit and engineered plans. We sent a wire transfer of $21,496.00 on that day and were set for delivery in December. After reaching out in November multiple times, without a response, for our engineered plans, (needed for a building permit) and contacting acquaintances in the business, we received a call. **** informed me that "this is not a fraudulent business" and we would have our building as scheduled. This was the last communication that we received from the company. We had made many calls and sent emails that went unanswered prior to ****** call so we continued to call hoping for an answer. It is apparent that all communication with the company has halted and they have +$21,000. that belongs to us. Crooks and they are all in it together - we want our money back!Initial Complaint

My husband and I entered into a contract for 2 different metal buildings through Classic Steel Buildings. A deposit for $6500 was placed for the 40x40 building on 4/5/21. An additional deposit of $6500 was made for the 30x60 building. Building were to be delivered by June 2021. In July, they finally sent the plans for the buildings. Delivery had been pushed back to Sept 2021. Over the months, they would send updated plans, but it could be weeks between correspondence. When we finally got through, we were told the person we needed to talk to had been out and would call us back. There was never a call back. We tried to contact them again to cancel the order and request a refund as it had been so long since the last correspondence and months after the buildings were supposed to be there. There is no longer any answer by phone or email and the website is no longer active.Initial Complaint

On 3/26/21, I entered a formal written contract with Classic Metal Buildings (CMB) to purchase a 50'X60' bldg., and paid $11,200.00 down. As part of the deal, I was to submit design drawings for approval, and the materials were to be delivered to me in Oct or Nov at my address. I was told to contact the business upon my return to Georgia in October and the materials would be delivered. My numerous calls in October went to their voice mail. My e-mail to CMB went unanswered. Feeling somewhat alarmed and concerned, I sent a certified letter (#XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX) dated October 27, 2021 to CMB, detailing the transaction and my concerns about no one answering their business phones and lack of returning my messages left on their voice mail. The certified letter was mailed to the same address listed on the contract at **** Glades Road, Boca Raton, FL XXXXX. The certified letter was returned on November 9, 2021, unopened, and with a yellow USPS sticker on it stating the mail was "undeliverable as addressed." What does this mean? Does this business exist? I have incurred expenses preparing the land for the construction of this large building. I would like CMB to follow through with the contracted agreement, and deliver my materials. If that is not possible, then please refund me the $11,200.00.
