Hello, on June 28th 2022 I paid a deposit to Homesafe Transit LLC to broker that move, during this time it was agreed that my items would be stored and I supplied a city/zip code that my items would be delivered to, and upon signing a new lease I would update them as to the exact address the items would be delivered. I supplied the tentative date of 10/1. On 9/27/22 I attempted to reach out to Homesafe Transit LLC to arrange for delivery only to find out that their phone numbers have been disconnected and that they are listed as permanently closed when you do an internet search. At this point I am unable to contact them, my items have been picked up and I have no idea where they are and how to get them delivered or if that is even possible.On August 11, 2022 Grand American Movers LLC arrived at my apartment picked up my items and agreed to keep them in storage until an address could be provided. I agreed to supply an address by 10/1 and when reaching out on 9/27/22 to supply the address and arrange delivery I am unable to contact them. Their phone numbers go unanswered and there is no way to leave a message for a return call. I have attempted to email them but I have not received a response. On the date of pick up (8/11/22) I paid in cash to the drive half of the original quoted amount $1,160.00 with the remainder plus any additional storage amounts (~$220/month 1st month free) at time of delivery. At this point I am unable to contact anyone and do not know the location of my items or how to arrange for delivery of them.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract with Grand American Movers LLC (carrier) for pick up on 8/25/2022. Delivery was scheduled for 8/28/2022. Additional fees were added by the carrier for a direct-move from ******* to ******. The Origin Payment on the Interstate Bill of Lading and Order for Service was $3,558.90, which included the additional fees. It was paid by personal check. The balance due at destination is $3,558.91, also to be paid by personal check. I contacted the carrier on the scheduled delivery date to see an approximate arrival time and was notified that our move is on "hold". They won't tell us where our belongings are, or when we can anticipate delivery. They claim we owe additional money. I told them that I would not pay their ******. All communication with them (carrier) has gone dark.Initial Complaint

Grand American Movers picked up my furniture May 19, 2022 with the drop off date of June 1, 2022. I paid $3,165 down, another $981 for extra space I didnt use, $1,600 at pick up, it was suppose to be a last payment of $1,600 but somehow it turned into $1,655 at drop off. They are suppose to call me ***** hours in advace to give me the ************* for pick up and drop off, but they did not do that for the drop off. I had to call them on 6/1/22 since they never called me i knew they werent coming. I told them I couldnt get in then calked back later and said I was ready for my furniture. I didnt hear from them until 6/05 saying they would drop off my things within 2 days if I paid a redelivery fee and a storage fee. I denied. Then they said that Sunday when I called back. Then I was blocked from on both **** and ****. I didnt receive my things until 7/5/22 after 7 pm with a few hours notice. When they arrived they wanted me to sign a contract and pay them before they moved my things in. The police was called but they never showed up due to it being a civil case. They tried to leave with my things but my daughter and I had to sit on the truck to keep him/**** from leaving with my things. When I saw the damages done to my things I had a fit. My couch, my bed, dishes, and pictures were all broken. I had boxes opened and missing. **** blocked me after I didnt pay the extra money and I have to call her in order to get the damages replaced for my things. They broke the contract i signed with the broker Guardian *** Lines LLC.
