Stay FAR FAR away if you need to have your eyes checked following the failure of a vision test at the DMV. This office will charge you an extra $60 to fill out the required DMV form, justifying the charge by explaining that they have to do a more "specialized peripheral vision field test". Although this specialized test is required by the DMV, there is not 1 eye doctor out of 7 that I contacted, that charges extra for this test!! They actually laughed, and were shocked to the point that they had to confirm if they heard me right, when I mentioned the extra charge being charged by this office. Yes, a doctor can charge what they want per their policy, but this speaks volumes regarding their priorities and service offered for their patients. We actually paid the extra $60 at the time due to a time constraint to get my 15 year old's eyes checked before his next DMV appointment. After filing a complaint about the $60, they refused to refund it. Perhaps if I had spent more money in their office that day, and bought glasses through them, which I was not about to do, they may have refunded the money, since accruing extra money from the patient in any way they can is the priority. Be wary of anything you're charged for from this office. On a positive note, I will say that their response to communication was prompt.
