My tub was not installed properly and as a result water was leaking on the floor. The root cause based on a licensed plumber expert opinion is that a ******* bite make adapter was used to install the connection for the tub faucet. A 1/2 inch male adapter welded was supposed to be used. I called and texted with this company for weeks, said they were coming out and just never showed up. The lack of integrity is astounding. I have to hire another plumber to fix the issue and replace the flooring.Business response

I called them on Friday 10/27/23 and **** said hed be here in an hour to locate the blockage. After I made two phone calls each he said on my way he arrived 3 hours late. He described the problem and said he could come back on Monday 9:30. I gave him 50% down to guarantee Monday 9:30. At 10:50 I called and left a message and he texted me later apologizing with excuses. I said cancel the contract and send my deposit back. Late afternoon his partner called I told him the same. The offered to come Wednesday but I had lost total confidence in them. This week I spoke to their newly created office manager and after back and forth they offered 1/2 back. No work was ever done. I told them this was unethical and unacceptable.Business response

Customer called our company out on a Saturday when we are closed. She had a stoppage, and was very concerned about her home. We accomdated her and went out to her off hours. We diagnosed the issue , gave her a price to fix it . She agreed , signed the contract. And have a deposit. She then used our knowledge, diagnosis, and information to tell a handyman she hired how to fix the issue. Its similar to bringing your car to a mechanic having him find the problem, then pulling your car out and have a handyman fix it with the information the mechanic gave you on how to fix the car. She Then tried to cancel with us telling us she had the work done already. Our contract clearly states that our terms of no refunds once contract is executed, which it was.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:everthing they said was incorrect. I did call Saturday but they called back Monday at 10:50 a.m. stating the weekend was insane and had an emergency ( so they were open). I was told he would be here in 1 hour. After 2calls to them, each time he stated on my way. He arrived 4:00 and did not try to clean out the drain. Said he couldnt do anything before Monday at 9:30.
I agreed . He wanted 1/2down. And could only hold the slot open with a deposit. Monday he never showed up and after several calls he texted me an apology and wanted to come Tuesday. I replied in writing to just cancel and return my deposit. It was less than 3 days from signing his contract. I never used his quote to have a handyman to do any work. It was the handyman who originally suggested a pro.
I believe their actions are unethical and if I could prove it the late arrival on Friday was a ploy to make me feel desperate and never had intentions to come at all.
Sincerely,

In April 2023 Above All Plumbing, located in **********, *******, installed my new water tank. According to the Town of ************** ******* codes it failed the inspection because the incorrect sized tray, pipe and tank were installed. (The company had come out previously to look at the scope of the job and provide the estimate.) I have attempted to contact the company a dozen times and they have not responded back to any of my phone calls.I'm writing to you to have them come correct the job so it will pass inspection. The current permit expires on October 20, 2023. For your reference, I have attached the ********************** Inspection History. If you need additional information, I can be reached at ************. We went out and changed the water heater as asked by the customer. Each municipality here in ******* has different guidelines on heater installs. We informed him that expansion tank was needed according to the code of ************** **. The customer did not want to pay the additional cost to put it in. He said he did not have an expansion tank with the heater he had previously so did not need it now, we explained to him his heater was old and that codes change over time, and it was necessary. Again he did not want to pay for it. We have no problem going back to add the expansion tank, as long as customer agrees to pay for the materials needed that wasnt in the initial estimateInitial Complaint

After initial inspection we advised the customer that to correctly fix her issue she needed to replace all of the plumbing pipes beneath her home, they are over 50 years old and the corrosion and age totally deteriorated her plumbing pipes causing a back up in one of her bathrooms. She told us she did not have the money to fix all of the plumbing. She asked if we could just fix the ONE a plumbing pipe leading to the bathroom that was having the problem. We told her yes we can and will replace that pipe, and by doing so it should help the issue in her bathroom, However we STRESSED to her that she will definitely need to fix the remaining pipes to ensure that this issue would not happen again. She told us to fix the one bathroom plumbing pipe beneath her hole for now and that when she had more money down the road she would fix the others. We performed that work for that one line which was the only line that we were contracted to do. The line that we replaced is working perfectly, there are no leaks , we have pictures of everything. Now , 4 months after we replaced that line, she is having issues with the rest of the plumbing lines that we told her were in need of replacement initially. We detailed all of this within the contract. She called us , we went to her home numerous times to reiterate what we told her from the start. That the rest of the plumbing pipes need to be replaced. She again told us she does not have the financing to do so, we even went one step further in trying to help her by telling her we would work out a payment plan with her so she could fix the rest of the issues. She did not respond. Additionally, with the work that we were contracted to do, we detailed in the contract that the work we performed for her includes a 5 year labor warranty. But the pipe that we fixed is not the issue , if it was we would repair it free of charge as detailed in the contract with the 5 year labor warranty. The additional work she needs done is a separate job , and has nothing to do with the work we were contracted to do initially. Even after we were alerted of this dispute we contacted her numerous times to discuss once again this situation. She did not respond. We put a lot of hard work , spent a lot of money on materials and labor for this woman and also gave her a discounted price to do the work , because we had sympathy for her regarding her financial situation. We tried to help her and it is APPALLING that she is ********* trying to rob us by trying to get her money back for work that was done properly. Again we have pictures of the work and all documentation. I will attach all related pictures below. It really is a shame that this woman has no conscience and is lying about this whole issue. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact me anytime at ************* or via email at *******************Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
*************************Above all plumbing is completely misrepresenting what took place. It has not been 4 months and I have been having issue since they completed the job. Job was completed 8/29/2022 and I have been complaining since 9/13/2022.
per the receipt - above all stated what they saw via the camera and gave a recommendation to replace the line underneath the bathroom because they located the obstruction there.
11/1/2022 - I got a second opinion and was instructed my line is holding water and replacing what Above all plumbing did was a waste of time because they completely missed the pitch. Replacing the line without the pitch was a waste of time and money because it did not correct my issue.
I now have to pay someone to go over the work that Above all plumbing did because it was a waste of time to charge me to replace the line knowing that wouldnt resolve my issue.
per my receipt for camera usage - Above all plumbing indicated that they would fix my issue and they did not. They refused to even camera the line. I have it on camera.
i have pictures of my line - even what they replaced still full of water because of the line being back pitched. It was a waste of time and money to replace the line from the side of house and miss the pitch which is why Im still having the same problem

This is ridiculous. We already responded to this baseless claim. We completed EXACTLY a what we were contracted to do for this lady . Documents and pictures have been sent in. We used the camera to identify the issue. We told her what the issue was. She only wanted to fix part of what we told her needed to be fixed. So we did that . Then she wants us to camera the line AGAIN the camera is a $15,000 piece of equipment. Its cost $500 per day to rent it from a tool rental place . If she wants to camera the line AGAIN we will do it for her no problem. She has to pay the rental fee that it costs us. This is a joke with this lady. Trying to steal money from our company. Thats EXACTLY what this is, an attempt to steal, theft of devices and materials. We are going to *** her in court for slander and libel.
