I was in the process to buy an apartment. Crest Management did not inform me that the association has a lien, suit case in court already from January 2024. However, the management sent me an application in May and request to pay application fee, which was paid by money order #****** issued at Chase bank in Brooklyn NY in the amount of $400.00 on May 8, 2024. Now , the management does not want to return me my $400.00 fee. According to the Florida Disclosure Law, it's was the duties of the association and/or management company to disclose material facts that may affect the value of the property. A lien and a law suit is definitely a material factor that was supposed to be disclosed. The Association knew about the lien and did not disclose it to us, such crucial detail was hidden for some reason. I wanted to settle this matter in a proper manner and called twice today, spoke with ***** and *** but without success, so I am filing a claim against the association. ***** ********

Crest does very poor job at managing landscape, takes sides with board of the directors even when the directors are wrong legally, they choose elections among themselves and when i complained I have yet to receive a ballot for elections, the only ballot that was sent in the years i've been living in my community was 1 and they said they were NOT going to proceed with the elections due to the error in the ballot, so no elections, there's been people for more than 10 years in the board and many homeowners want those out due to very negative attitude towards the homeowners. Crest also allows the board to selectively enforce projects among the board and homeowners which is illegal in the state of Florida. No one wants to attend the zoom board meetings due to the drama its allowed in them, crest does nothing to alleviate the hostility between the board members and the homeowners. Our current property manager is notoriously rude and comes off as a **** to many of the homeowners.

Crest management Group has failed in every aspect of their contractual responsibilities: 1) Our coupons for 2022 had to be mailed out several times because of their bookkeeping incompetence. Resulting in residents having to contact their bank to change electronic payments.2) Crest signed a legal document for a homeowner and violated our community documents ( copy available upon request).3) As president of ****************** at the time, Crest owner, ***************** refused to answer or return my calls. I referred these issues to my VP, ********************* and she was on each occasion able to get a call back from ******************4) In a solicitation letter sent out to various Condominium associations by Crest, ***************** stated that he was presently managing Dorset condominium and the board was extremely satisfied with his services (copy available upon request). I have been a *** for seventeen years and NEVER was polled by Crest for a referral.5) For the past several years Crest has been tasked with guiding the *** to produce a budget. They have failed to say the least and merely would repeat the previous years budget. Their guidance and fiscal irresponsibility has caused our community to raise our coupon tremendously and will probably weigh a hefty assessment to our residents.6) Crest has repeatedly sent out erroneous meeting notices to the residents with wrong dates causing residents to not being able to attend meetings.7) During a Zoom meeting, November 17, 2020 or approximately thereof, I was speaking and *********************** (Crest property manager) muted me for the remainder of the meeting. I should point out that I was and still am a standing director for Dorset condominium. The above has prompted me to pursue getting their A+ rating and accreditation rethought and if my fellow board members start thinking of the community and the residents move forward and take control to those who will benefit the association *****************************

      Crest Management Group, Inc. Response

      11/10/2022

********************** statements are false, without merit and based upon his dislike of Crest Management Group. ****************** was removed by the Board as President due to his erratic and abusive behavior towards his fellow Board members and staff at Crest Management. ****************** has been accused by multiple vendors asking for kickbacks which is against ******* Condominium law, and has been substantiated and documented.
