This company is stealing the work of other designers and passing it off as their work on social media and Pinterest. I have seen multiple logos posted on Pinterest that my companies designers have created and this company is trying to pass them off as their creations.

      Hello *******************,
I hope you are having a good day. I received your message and the BBB complaint and want to sincerely apologize that you feel we are stealing your work or claiming credit for any work posted on Pinterest. My company has never claimed credit for any work that was not ours.We also have in our Pinterest Bio that we do not claim any work. The reposting of any work was posted as inspirational postsinspirational quotes, product photography ideas, and more. My company does not offer product photography, the creation of business cards, and more, but they are posted as inspiration. I have given credit for several logos, brand designs, product photography, and more. Still, in several instances, these photos were found when reposted by someone else, so there is nowhere that credit could be found or given in several posts. It was not my intention at all to steal work from others but just to inspire others when trying to build a brand to understand what they like and do not like. I am more than happy to delete any post you would like. I know how frustrating this may be as a business owner when you think someone is stealing your designs. However, this is not the case. I can guarantee you that this will not happen again. I am happy to work with you on doing whatever you feel is deemed necessary to make amends. I hope you have a great rest of your day, and I am looking forward to hearing back from you. I reach out to you via email but I never recieved a response.

I am rejecting this response because:

As evidenced by my screenshots the business is claiming to have created multiple logos and other works that clearly they had nothing to do with. The **** logo attached was done by a designer in my company who also happens to have a thriving creative services company on the side, which is where the logo was taken from.

Your logos page on Pinterest https://www.pinterest.com/maddiegirlmarketing/logos/ says nothing about these posted works not being yours, this is clearly deceptive. You have also uploaded the works instead of simply pinning the original sources, again, this is deceptive. If that wasn't enough, you clearly state you created the **** logo "Skincare Logo **************** Timeless and elegant primary logo that we custom designed for a skincare brand. To see the full case study, click through to our portfolio. #logo #logodesign #skincarebranding" when in fact you did not, it was created by https://fifthhousestudio.co/ and taken from their Instagram or website.

Simply put, you are a fraud.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

      Dear ***************************,
As you can see, I sincerely apologize for making you feel like my company was trying to steal work from your or other creators in the industry. That was never my intention and was done strictly for inspirational purposes. I have deleted every pin created on the ********************** page to make sure there is not one instance of my company stealing work. I can guarantee you it will not happen again. If there is anything else I can do, please let me know, and I hope to make amends with you. You and your company have done fantastic work and should always have credit for that. It was my mistake. The Pinterest page was not done correctly; my team and I have learned our ******* and it will not happen again. Please accept my apology.
