      My vehicle was towed into Bonita Auto Center *** on 12/5/2023 by AAA as it had a flat tire. **** Called me approx 6pm and explained a new tire was needed as it was punctured on the side wall. He stated that if I paid $50.00 to expedite delivery of the tire to the morning of 12/6/23 it could be mounted that day and picked up, I agreed to pay the $50.00 over and above all expenses to have it delivered the next day. I called the afternoon of the next day and the tire hadn't come in and it would be the another day.... possibly. I picked the vehicle up on 12/7/23 and when I went to pay **** instead of charging $50.00 for next day delivery he charged me $25.00 even though it wasn't delivered the next day. I asked him to not charge me for something promised that didn't happen. He said he wouldn't.1. he was still charging me a fee for next day delivery of tire that didn't come the next day 2. the outside of the tire was filthy as if it had been laying in the dirt 3. the tire should have been inflated to 36psi as per GMC, it was filled to 31psi 4. there is a special GMC dust cap for the valve stem it has a green reflective cap, Bonita Auto Center installed a different lesser dust cap(who knows what happed to the original dust cap)Not only was I charged for delivery service that never occurred, the tire should have been inflated properly as per GMC stated standards(door frame), a lesser dust cap was substituted (I don't know if the special cap has beneficial or technical purposes) there are added shop fees unexplained possibly due to this, the tire itself visibly looked like it came out of a junkyard as far as appearances and it should have been cleaned up, which I took time to do. I should be refunded the $25 plus the cost of a proper dust cap for the valve stem. I will go to an auto store to purchase and expect to be reimbursed, along with apologies for bad service

      Mr. ******, first off, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. 

      We have done an investigation and learn that **** did everything possible to help you with your vehicle needs. However, he made a mistake by promising the tire the next day. The reason he said to you (next day) is due to our tire vendors shipping instructions said next business day, which means next day shipping if order withing business working hours and they closed at 5pm. We close at 5pm as well but **** took the time after closing hours to try to repair the tire only to verify that tire was not repairable due to side wall puncture. Regardless weather **** ordered the tire on Dec 5 at 6pm or Dec 6 during business hours the tire would have arrived on Dec 7th which it did. For the record we paid $52dls next business day shipping since tire was coming from out of state and he gave you 50% off the shipping anyways. otherwise, tire would have been here 3-5 business days after it was ordered.

      about the tire cap. we always replace the valve stem with the new tire replacement. The new valve stem comes with a new valve stem cap. that is the reason you have a new one. 

      We always check and air up all the tires to the vehicle specs 

      We strongly believe **** really tried to help you and never intended for any confusion. **************** is our number one priority and once again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we are willing to refund $50dls. the $25 for the shipping and another $25 for the valve stem cap. have a great day.       Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However instead of reimbursing me $50, Please reimburse me $35.  $25 for shipping and $10 for valve stem cap. I was asking to be reimbursed only.

        In regards to the cap, it was green at the top, green signifies the tire was inflated with nitrogen at the factory, not regular air. While they filled it with regular air they should have made a point of returning the original green valve stem cap. Secondly, they filled the tire with 31lbs of air and not 36lbs as **** claims, I drove truck for 30 years and am very particular with tires properly filled regardless of the season. I assume BBB will forward **** my mailing address for a check to be mailed, if not please let me know
