I'm a landlord who lives a few hours away and reached out to Juli regarding a tenant property A/C issue and asked if she could "come take a look". She sent a tech over but 3 hrs later I still hadn't heard anything and so I reached back out. She contacted her tech and got back to me. She let me know he did the work and it's working for now. The Tech did work on my unit that was not authorized. When I told her I didn't approve the work she told me she has a problem with her tech doing work without an estimate or getting authorization beforehand. This is poor business practice and not a standard for a BBB listed business.Customer response

Yes I was charged for the work. After I attempted a resolution with the business owner that was I'll send my tech back and have them remove the parts and freon. Like I would ever allow someone of an untrustworthy caliper back on my property to simply "undo" their work. I had already been taken for a ride I sure as heck didn't want them to have free range to create other issues.
An appropriate resolution in my mind would be an extension of a courtesy discount for the bad action of her tech performing service and repairs without authorization.
