Regarding Barclay Bank DE and account with. I'd like to understand the debt, it's travels, how it reached you there, how the balance grew after charge-off, who endorsed suit on an account known to be in dispute, how is it in collections, or with collections, even so now after escalation and concession by the Bank. Are, or have you, furnished data regarding the account to credit reporting bureau? Required is some proof the debt was ever valid. Release the initial dunning letter. How closely do, or could, you interact with Barclay Bank DE as issuer? Please though, no replies from Sessoms and Rogers* just yet.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/12) */ This is in response to the inquiry (No. XXXXXXXX) that ****** ******** (the "Consumer") submitted to the Better Business Bureau relating to alleged activities of Data Search NY Inc., which conducts business as TRAKAmerica (the "Company"). The Company is engaged in the business of the management of loan portfolios for, among others, Barclays Bank Delaware ("Barclays"). The Company neither initiates contact with consumers nor reports to the credit bureaus. Sessoms & Rogers (the "Firm") is currently representing Barclays in relation to the Consumer's account. With response to the Consumer's inquiry, the Firm provided the following information: Barclays charged off the account with a balance of $798.16 The Firm sent a validation notice to the Consumer on March 30, 2016 (attached) and did not receive a response The Firm filed a lawsuit on September 16,2016 against the Consumer to recover the $798.16 unpaid balance of the account (plus court costs); service was made on the Consumer on November 8, 2016 The Consumer did not respond to the lawsuit and the court entered judgment by default on December 19, 2016 in the amount of $1,008.16, representing a principal balance of $798.16 and court costs in the amount of $210.00 On January 5, 2017, the Consumer filed a Motion to Vacate the Judgment, which the court denied on March 10, 2017 On September 8, 2017, the Consumer filed a Motion for Default Judgment, which was subsequently marked as "Withdrawn, Abandoned or Moot" on April 25, 2019 The Consumer failed to properly notice the Firm for a hearing on the Motion and the court subsequently removed the matter for the Consumer's failure to prosecute The Judgment is valid and the current balance $1,008.16 remains due and owing The Consumer should contact the Firm on XXX-XXX-XXXX with any other questions.
