I paid over $11,000 dollars to have my paver installed by this company. They used a paver that did not look anything like what we picked out and the pavers were old and discolored. The job was so bad that I had to hire another company within three months to replace the work they did at an additional cost of $10,000. I was ill at the time and was not able to come out of the house to really get a view on the job. They asked me to inspect the pavers at a very early hour before the sun was fully up so I was unable to determine the true color. I had other companies look at te job and they told me the pavers were old. I had a man from another company tell me he worked in a factory that made pavers and the paver HE SAID, were clearly defects that would normally be tossed out.

      Business response

      07/27/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/06/22) */ This response was provided verbally to BBB: We had to have our attorney get involved with this customer. The customer was dissatisfied with the color of the pavers, and his issues were buyer's remorse. We addressed all concerns that he had, and had a manufacturer's rep come out to inspect. The customer was flagrantly abusive to us. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/06/22) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They provided an inferior product that fell apart within days of completion. It is true I hated the color but the color was not the issue, the issue was the poor craftsmanship and the inferior product put out by the Paver Pro people. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2022/07/11) */ Additional information regarding ****** Complaint: We have already discounted the lien in our prior offer, and the non-disparagement is necessary due to your client's repeated threats and baselessly accusing my employees of racism, over a dispute that ultimately is simply your client deciding he didn't like the paver colors he picked out after they were installed. I feel very strongly that your client tried to intimidate us with threats of negative publicity and falsehoods, in order to escape his obligations for payment. We have these statements documented in emails. If you wish to compromise on the value of the lien as we have offered, then a non-disparagement agreement is what we are willing to accept in lieu of the additional money owed. If your client remains uninterested then we intend to file suit to foreclose the lien, and get our attorney fees and costs, as well as bring any other claims for the bad acts described above. Please advise by close of business Monday as to your position. Additionally Mr. ****** stated in the complaint to you that we over charged him ($10,989.40) but paid another company $10,000 to install a new product. The new company didn't have to remove 6" thickness of existing concrete or install a truck load of base rock and compact to ICPI specifications. This was included in our cost. Also in his complaint, it was obvious his displeasure with the quality and color (grey base color blend) of the product he picked out from Tricircle Pavers but yet he choose a white base color blend from the same manufacture. If you recall, the pavers were old and defective. Why would he go back to the same manufacture? Nothing in his complaint and rebuttal is accurate, just his way to justify and blame someone else for his mistake. We value our reputation and customer service, I do not want him to take that away from us. Thank you for your time.
