This business is illegal. He is acting as a federal student aid consultant. Taking one time payments and telling me and my wife that our loans will be forgiven. His website is very close to the old Fedloan servicing website domain. He has been taking advantage of me for years.Customer response

He is impersonating fed load servicing, a federal agency. ***************************** is using fake names and creating a story designed to steal money from loan borrowers.
****** uses a name ************************* as his business name. What he is doing is illegal, immoral, and plane wrong.
he is soliciting student loan forgiveness when he works out of his home in *******, not related to any financial institutions regarding student loans.

It is impossible to receive adequate service from this company. Paperwork is uploaded but not reviewed in its entirety. No one takes interest in speaking to you. Hold times are ridiculous, call backs result in additional transfers and hold times. I have been trying to apply for loan forgiveness for 8 months and can never get any assistance.Initial Complaint

Fedloan allowed a payment to come out of my checking account without my permission. according to federal law under COVID relief, all direct deposits are frozen and are NOT supposed to have any payments taken out of any accounts. Fedloan knows this and decided to refund the money one posted. The system made a second attempt and it posted. The refund is currently in process starting July 14. Unfortunately, no one told me how long it will take and 7/20/22 I was told 2-3 months. this is NOT acceptable; my account is now at a negative balance, I'm collecting fees, and I have other bills to pay. Fedloan needs to refund my money ASAP. What they did was against the law, and I cannot wait 2-3 months for the refund to post. Fedloan needs to expedite the refund processInitial Complaint

I submitted a complete public service loan forgiveness application in December 2021. I have made over 120 payments since I began working for the government in 2009. In March 2022, I was told that the electronic signature from my immediate supervisor was insufficient. She has signed forms for fedloan multiple times in the past and they were accepted. The only difference is now I work from home full-time due to Covid, so she electronically signed the form. When I was told that this would not be accepted, my supervisor hand signed the form and faxed it to me. I faxed the re-signed form to fedloan with a request that it be added to my pending December 2021 application. I called Fedloan thereafter and was advised no other action was required on my end. I received an update in May 2022 stating that my estimated date of discharge would be June 2022. Then, yesterday, I received a denial of my application because a signature was not acceptable. The denial is vague. It does not say what signature was disapproved. When I called Fed loan to ask, I spent hours on the phone and was repeatedly disconnected or told I would be transferred and then placed back in the same queue. Before being disconnected on one of my calls, I was informed that my supervisor signed her name slightly below the signature line instead of exactly on the signature line and someone at Fedloan might not have liked that. I am eligible for forgiveness under an exception that expires in October 2022. I have been waiting for over six months for my forgiveness and this feels like a way for Fedloan to stall until the October deadline expires. Fedloan knows that I work for the federal government because I have to submit IBR plan renewals which contain tax records. This is just wrong.Initial Complaint

Fed Loan Servicing told me on the phone in May that my non-profit, eligible job I was starting for 32 hrs. a week could easily be supplemented with a second p.t. eligible non-profit, which they both are, to continue to remain eligible for Public Loan Forgiveness Program and just notified me that I'm not qualified because it's not full time work. Even their employer certification form says otherwise.Initial Complaint

I cannot get any help with my application for PSLF. I submitted all paperwork months ago and no one will reply in any fashion. There is no "chat help" option anymore. I email and no one answers. And I can sit on hold for hours (literally - HOURS), and no one ever answers the call. I'm on hold in the background again, right now. I'm sure the call won't be picked up.My sense is that they're stalling until the time period for the temporary PSLF application process runs out. It feels as though they're purposely trying to exceed the deadline so that borrowers will not qualify. How can I get a loan specialist to process my application? And, even if they do, how will I know they're doing it fairly? This feels very much like a bank trying to force borrowers past the deadline to avoid having to qualify them for loan forgiveness. As someone who has dedicated her entire 18-year career to working with under-served populations, this is worse than a slap in the face. It's illegal.Initial Complaint

I have been employed as a social worker in a county system for **************************************************** an effort to dispute their rejection, I have called and never ever ever get a person. I am on hold for nearly 2 hours. They don't reply to email correspondence and never have staff on their purported chat function. Nobody gets back to me. Just a rejection letter. It's stunning. Unacceptable.Initial Complaint

I have submitted the form for loan forgiveness and Fedloan rejected it for erroneous reasons. I resubmitted it and they again rejected it for erroneous reasons. I have called multiples times and spoke with multiple people and each one has a different reason for why it is rejected and none of them make sense and are basically made up. They are STALLING the application for whatever reason I don't know. I don't know how many other people are having this problem. They keep telling me they will process it but it ends up rejected for make up reasons.
