I am writing to bring to your attention a serious matter regarding the management company I hired. I was misled by this company, and I feel that they took advantage of **** hired this management company three years ago, with the understanding that they would take care of the repairs and maintenance of my property. However, they only visited the property twice in these three years and did not provide the services they promised. Furthermore, when I tried to contact them to address these issues, they did not reply to my correspondences. The situation has now reached a critical point as the company is withholding the money I paid them and refusing to return it. I have tried to reach the person who I initially spoke with, but I have been informed that he no longer deals with the property management side of the business. I have also been unable to get in touch with the person he referred me to.I am deeply disappointed by this experience, as I entrusted this company with my property and funds, and now I am facing difficulties in getting what is rightfully mine. I would like the Better Business Bureau to help me resolve this matter and get my money back. I would also like for the company to terminate our contract.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing back from you.Business response

Hello, first thing first I would like to let you know that the company details you have are not correct, for instance, the address at ***************** and other details in general are outdated for both Company and Ownership. Details are therefore no longer valid. Number two, ************** perfectly knows the new address and details of the right ****************** as written on the Statements he is receiving every month, and he is already in touch with the current Owner to solve this monetary issue along with the one of the Notice. So it is not our fault if, for the wrong address, we received notice only a few days ago. To answer **************, we always did our work scrupulously and diligently, but it was and is very difficult to deal with an Owner like him that also wants to act as a manager when we are there to do it. For example, after we let him know that, after professionally inspected by a ******************** the Septic Tank was to be replaced, he saw that it was not and left the Tenant in complete unsanitary conditions. We had to pay from our pocket the ******************* to empty it otherwise the Tenant would have not been in livable conditions and we would have been in violation of Florida and Federal Legislation as he suggested us not to take any further actions. ************** refused to reimburse us for this work because the lease included a clause stating the Owner being responsible to empty the Septic Tank just once per year and then being up to the Tenant. But Tenant rightly refused to pay as the Septic Tank was not working due to age of the system. Also we had to pay a plumber from our pocket to show him that the Septic Tank was to be replaced, but he refused again. Then ************** asked her sister to collaborate with us for this issue and she decided, after some months, to replace the Septic Tank but only because the City imposed them to do so as sewage was leaking out of the septic tank and spilling out on the grass and surrounding areas thus creating environmental and health hazard together with great embarassment for the unlucky Tenant having to face repercussions with the entire neighborhood. This is the kind of Owner we are talking about. He asked us to manage and don't let us to do our work. Anyway, as already said, the Owner is in touch with him to solve the monetary and Management notice issue once forever and in the only way we know, professionally.
