I took out a loan with Hancock Whitney at their Sarasota Branch on March 23, 2121. Everything was going well until July, when I stopped receiving statements. I have tried calling their 800 number and it is automated. They only seem to address checking and saving accounts are credit cards but nothing about loans. The automated system does not recognize me by my social security number. I started paying the statements in person at their Sarasota branch. About a month or 2 ago, I called a different 800 number - XXX-XXX-XXXX. I finally got to speak to a human. This person did find my loan information. He said that he can see digitally that they have been sending me statements. I do not care what he can see online. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A STATEMENT SINCE JULY OF 2021. He told me that he would work on remedying this situation. I still have not received a statement. I mailed in my statements using an old statement I still have from Hancock and Whitney and used the same address that was on their statement. I put down my loan number, which is XXXXXX-XXX-XXX-XX. I also gave them my social security number. It seems they are not receiving these payments as the money is still in my checking account. Whoever set up this loan screwed things up immensely. There is something wrong. Whenever I try to call, I can only get an automated system that does not recognize me. I have spoken to an attorney about this situation as this bank is ruining my credit. I want something done about this immediately.Business response
