    Beware! Read this before spending your money. I wanted to rent a skiff to go fishing. Rick said he's selling them and his tritoon was a better fishing boat...NOT! The service, equipment and overall experience is nothing like their website portrays...far from it. After being charged for more than expected for fuel, I called Rick to discuss it. He explained the charge and I was willing to accept. Then, his arrogance and "don't give a sh**" attitude came out and he argued with me as I explained what my experience was compared to what his website said. Argued that his own website didn't say what it clearly in fact does say. Over talked me and eventually hung up on me. Very unprofessional! I would look into other options before doing business with bluwave and Rick. Money NOT well spent.

    As a small business boat rental company, no matter how hard you try and vet your customers for safety and responsibility, you end up regretting decisions to trust people with your equipment. My skiff was not available as I explained, I did have the tritoon available and it is set up for fishing with livewells, pole holders, fishing seats, fish finder etc. No one tried to tell him it was a skiff and he had the option of taking the tritoon or looking elsewhere for a fishing boat. ***** ****** wanted a boat to get up in the mangroves which we do not allow anyway due to people getting the lower units in the sand and mud, overheating and destroying the motors. The boat was perfectly well maintained, equipped, and clean and fully operational. ***** ****** brought my boat to the dock totally intoxicated which is a USCG violation and certainly rendered any future rental with Bluwave an impossibility! He was belligerent with my fleet manager upon his return to the dock, bullying Jesse for no reason. Jesse put up with his attitude and treatment since ****** was a customer but reported to me the issue and we noted his file for future reference. When ****** called me to complain about the Non-Ethanol gas he used over a 2 day period (28 gallons, costing $117.00) then launched into a complaint session about the boat not being a fishing boat, claiming our website stated we had fishing spots on the boat for him to use when in FACT our website does not say that. Check it out yourselves, the Garmin has fishing reefs and certain structure locations programmed into the Garmin, that is TRUE! Mr. ****** is a bully, threatening small businesses which he must feel is appropriate and effective in his life but we are not ok with that which is why I definitely took exception to his false statements and tirade on the phone. I do not accept this new form of business from bullies and demands after we provided the product we advertised, with the service at or above the standards in the area, and did our best to make his family and party successful and safe! Mr. ****** over talked me to the extent that since he was not going to listen to anything or let me say anything as he continued his raging explosion, I did in fact terminate the call with him, as I warned him I would do.

    Wow, absolutely amazing. Some people just can't take responsibility for their inability to correct their wrongs. Folks just read other reviews about bluwave and in particular Ricks attitude and unprofessional demeanor. Take note that in EVERY response Rick says the customer is a bully...ironic huh? I think not. Rick, first let me tell you that I had no alcohol beverages at all, I have a digestive disorder that prevents me from drinking so your cop out insinuation that some how I was drunk and belligerent is absurd. Jesse, your crew staff as you mentioned, was great to work with and matter of fact he apologized several times in behalf of Rick and bluwave rental. I could tell you more things that Jesse had to say about Rick and his business but I won't jeapordize his employment. All I can say is read the reviews on all places, here with BBB, trip advisor, Google and anywhere else that reviews are posted, you'll see the real reviews because the customers are saying the same things and Ricks response is all the same...the customer is a bully and was completely in the wrong. Rick you are a very poor business man and your equipment and business tactics reflect it. Folks do your homework and follow your gut instincts, don't waste your money on bluwave and there poorly maintained equipment. As for you Rick, you can fabricate whatever kind of response to reviews you want but people that have never met are writing reviews that are of the same nature. Maybe it's time to either get out of business or change the way you run your business...not everyone can be wrong! You are dishonest and it's catching up to you.
