Placed 50% deposit on January 12 for custom cabinets to be manufactured by **** Cabinets, ****** location, with ~14 week delivery schedule. To be installed by M&L Cabinets. We have been unable to contact M&L since late January, have learned that the order was never placed, as of early February, and that the retail location has been closed/locked since late January. One of the owners has filed suit against the other owners (***************************** and *********************) for a range of mis-dealings, including use of deposits for personal use, not placing orders, etc (Case #****CA000512AX, Manatee County). We seek full refund of $5699.55 deposit.Initial Complaint

I corresponded (visits, emails, phone calls) many times with M&L Cabinets per design, specs and quotes of my cabinets over the month prior to finalizing agreement with M&L Cabinets. On 12/5/23, I visited M&L Cabinets, signed contract (no contract #), paid via credit card 50% down payment $3460.66 of $6921.32 on 2 bathroom vanities with quartz countertops/sinks, 1 linen cabinet, and tear out/install services for my 2 bathrooms. Estimated lead time was ***** weeks. Early January, spoke with ******************* (owner/manager) who said I will be contacted about 2 wks before M&L receives product. 1/30/23 called M&L-voicemail box full so emailed ************************* *************************************** per **************** needed. 2/1/23 M&L voicemail box full so emailed ************************* again with previous email, no response back. 2/2/23 M&L voicemailbox full; visited the M&L at *******************************************:30am - doors were locked, no signs so forwarded previous emails to owner/manager ***************************** *************************************** No response from anyone from M&L. 2/3/23 M&L VM full; many others with same complaints on ****** reviews. 2/4/23 found 3rd owner filing a civil law suit with M&L and other two owners. 2/3/23 I contacted credit card company started dispute process of the $3460.66 charges. Per credit card company will take ***** days to research. 2/8/23 contacted the cabinet manufacturer thru their website to see if had my order from M&L Cabinets. National Director of Sales from the manufacturer replied back. He said that the manufacturer have stopped all production for M&L Cabinets, *** due to lack of payment on previous orders. 2/8/23 emailed **************** one more time. No email replies, no phone calls received from M&L Cabinets, doors still locked and no products/services provided to me as contract agreed by M&L Cabinets. I want my $3460.66 down payment back since I have not received any goods or services from them as of this date.Initial Complaint

On 12/13/22 we put a 50% downpayment of $9389.26 with M&L Cabinets for cabinets, countertops and demolition/installation services. When we got into town the first week of February we went to check on status of our project and found out M&L had closed. They do not respond to phone call or emails. Their physical store has not been. We have since found a lawsuit has been filed in Manatee County by one of the shareholders of M&L against the other two shareholders for misappropriation of funds. We believe there are three siblings that own equal shares in the corporation and one sibling is suing the other two siblings. We have also been in contact with the cabinet manufacture (Wynbrooke Cabinets). They informed ** that M&L owes them thousands of dollars on unpaid cabinet orders including our cabinet order. We are trying to get a refund from our credit card companies but that is still to be resolved.Initial Complaint

Placed order for kitchen cabinets on October 31, 2022 and gave a 50% deposit. Check was deposited and cleared. Delivery was to be 11 to 13 weeks. Followed up in December, checked in at the store in January regarding delivery. Have been calling and emailing because store is closed, no response. Found out from other source that they are probably out of business. Called manufacturer of cabinets and they have no record of the order or receiving the deposit. Ordered custom cabinets due to cabinets being damaged by water. ******************** inspected and agreed that cabinets were not repairable. Sat down with a representative of M & L Cabinets and designed new cabinets paid a ********* deposit to this day we have tried to contact them as to the status and they are not answering there business phone, answering emails there is no communication with them whatsoever.Initial Complaint

I ordered a cabinet on October 27th of last year. I put 50% down or $620. I was told cabinet would be ready 3rd week of January 2023. I started calling business last week starting Monday 1/23/23. They have been closed all week and never returned my calls. Their mailbox is full. Now I have no cabinet and have to start over. I want a refund.
