I hope more people verify these comments before going to Aspen Dental, because truly the service they offer must be one of the worst in the entire country. My experience is almost the same as all the previous comments, I have spent more than 4 months trying to know what the correct amount of my invoice is and today after 4 months, I was able to know the correct amount, terrible customer service, they never communicate with the supervisors, truly one of the worst experiences of my entire life.

I came here with a serious concern regarding a life threatening health issue - tooth abscess. Having no insurance, or no money to pay for a tooth extraction, my budget could only cover antibiotics and an oral cancer screening. I was informed that I could not receive an oral cancer screening without gum therapy / cleaning. I was then approved for a credit of $3,000. I then received the cleaning, oral cancer screening, oral b tooth brush kit, and a prescription for antibiotics... The dentist encouraged me to return the following day for extraction; however, the fees for services renderd was $2,800!!!! The cost for extracting 2 teeth was an additional $1,200... The amount remaining on credit was $200. I was advised to pay on the credit until there was enough wiggle room to get teeth extracted. The dentist did everything I her power to run up that credit; very hurtful experience!!!!

Payed ***** to have two of my teeth straightened via removing teeth and getting Invisalign. Only one tooth has straightened. It took three years and one dentist admitted my first dentist didnt file my teeth enough. The entire treatment I waited excessively long to go back even with an appointment. They never answer the phone and then blamed me when my new trays came in and I wasnt able to make an appointment for them within a few weeks ( keep in mind they never called me to even tell me the trays were in). If I made an appointment ahead of time , they called me when I was in the parking lot at the time of my appointment to cancel and say the trays hadnt arrived yet. The staff is rude. They tried to make me buy $400 retainers after saying my treatment was over ( pretty much because they werent making money off of me anymore ) when I was not satisfied with the results because one of my teeth is still sideways . I refused because why would I buy $400 retainers just to buy another $400 set of retainers when I can wear the tray I have now and spend the money on retainers when I finish straightening my the teeth they had an attitude over this blaming me. Also, I payed and they charged before the treatment. After that they continuously tried to collect my insurance to cash it out for all that they could and gave me a hard time when I canceled my insurance even though our contract said everything that was owed to Aspen was paid. Plus, when I got the Invisalign they said I could go to any Aspen and transfer my case when I move . Guess what, I moved . Guess who cannot transfer . The whole company is run on false promises and scams .

Aspen Dental in ************* do not go there. They took my money two times and they told me they will give me a refund on my ******** Airlines credit card and they did not. After having my teeth rewind two times which the relining fell apart two times then the dentist told me well we didn't make the Denture so we can't do that much for you and I told her why didn't you tell me that in the beginning I would have never done that I would have gone somewhere else. I am still waiting for them to put a refund in my ******** Airlines credit card.

I went to Aspen Dental in December, 2023 for what I thought I might have a cavity. They had me do X-rays and a dental examination for evaluation. I was told that I needed periodontal work which would include a deep cleaning, fluoride treatment and followed exams for maintenance, a tooth pulled and an implant put in all for $6,000.00. I said no on the tooth removal and implant and asked how much for the periodontal treatment plan and was informed that by purchasing an Aspen Dental membership the exam and X-rays are free and you qualify for special membership pricing. I purchased the membership and agreed to the treatment plan we discussed for $794.00. I felt that the cost was a bit high but agreed to the treatment plan and paid in full. Had the deep cleaning done with fluoride and was scheduled for second visit in March, this is the maintenance that everything is going well as discussed. When I showed up for the second appointment they wanted to charge me an additional $228.00 stating that this was not charged on my first visit and I got it wrong when we discussed the treatment plan. I stated I did not misunderstand and that the receipt I have does not indicate that I have additional monies owed which should have been there if I was to be charged for the follow-up appointments. I cannot believe that this business can conduct itself like this. I sent a complaint and the billing person that I worked with told me that I dont know their coding on the receipt and didnt know what I was talking about. If youre going to give a receipt that indicates a Patient Treatment Plan it should include all costs associated with the treatment plan, mine stated no additional money owed.I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Aspen Dental told me the 1st visit is free. I was on vacation and asked them to reglue a crown. They would not let me see the dentist untill they took a lot of x rays when I asked why they were taking the x rays they said do not worry it is part of the 1st visit and that is free. The dentist refused to re glue the crown and insisted wanted to sell me a lot of work. I went home and got the crown reglued. Then they charged my insurance for the x rays and sent me a bill for the office visit. After many calls they said you have a zero balance the visit was free. Now I got a letter from a collection agency for the office visit. This is a fraudulent practice of claiming a free visit and then charging for services. They never even did the work I went into the office for.I had to select 1 star to submit the reveiw but it should be 0 stars.

This is with the billing department. I visited in December of last year to see how much it would cost to get a bridge and 2 teeth. It ended up with the estimate being very high and this was with dental insurance . They wanted to do work that was not needed. They said instead of 2 new teeth I need 4 new teeth plus a molar needed to be pulled. I said thank you very much but the cost is way to high. I owed $30 for the visit. I paid it that same day and it came out of my bank account the next day. I have proof on my bank statement it came out. They are charging me $30 again. I just received statement say it is past due. People beware if you use Aspen Dental before you pay a bill that was sent by them you better double check your bank statement. They waited 2 1/2 months before they sent the bill out thinking I would pay it before checking my statement. To me that is robbery. I will never use them again and will warn everyone I know not to use them. Very bad business to try and get more money when you have already been paid.

I went over to Aspen Dental in *********, ******* for help. I broke my front tooth of my upper denture, needed it fixed. Made an appt., went over, they told me I had to fill out all of the paperwork involved because I'm a new patient. Told them all I need is the tooth put back on - no way they said. They told me I need to have a full exam, x-rays, etc. Another racket, boy do I miss the old days when people were honest. Stay far away.
