I ordered accordian hurricaine shutter for my patio in May of 2 023. I paid 50% down on**. The person that did the initial estimate said probab ** Sept 2023. Sept has come and gone, I have called a number of times and the last time I called, they told me around the 1st week in October 2023. Here it is October. I'm just wanting to let consumers know that I think the bbb has given them a false rating. I get the standard answer, it depends on the manufacturer or the hurricane south of ********* has impacted our service up here. I think their service is awful. 6 months or more for 1 accordian hurricane shutter. Shame on them.

Hello *************, We are in the middle of hurricane season for product manufacturing.  It has been ramping up since early June.  The manufacturer is a smaller company that creates very good quality products.  When we sold the product, we provided an estimated lead time based on current manufacturing conditions and mentioned the end of September for a product completion date.  We picked up 3 orders yesterday, 10/5/23, and yours was one of them.  We will be contacting you shortly to schedule an install.  We are setting aside one of our install crews to just focus on Storm protection so that we can get this product installed in a timely manner.  Thank you, ********;  

We had hurricane windows installed by Mr. Build and couldn't be happier with the results! We live in SW *******, famous for hurricanes, so when we were in the market for new windows, friends recommended Mr. Build. My friends had done "all the research" and said Mr. Build was the best value, but I did my own research anyway and was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were, in fact, "the best bang for my buck." *******************, the salesman, thoroughly explained the way the windows were manufactured and stressed quality workmanship and strength of the windows. As an added note, ***** told us the installer would replace our outside trim with new trim, and that was something the other companies did not doa big selling point for us!***** took care of all the paperwork and checked with us periodically to keep us updated as to when the windows would be coming in. He told us initially that the windows would be in at the end of May, and on May 30, we received a call that our windows had arrived and were ready for installation. Two days later, they were installed!!! Now that the windows have been installed, I must comment on the professionalism of the two people who did the installation: ***** installed all the windows singlehandedly, and **** did the inside trim work. Both were extremely respectful of our property and methodical in their installation. The windows themselves are VERY SOLID! We won't be worrying about hurricane winds anymore! Our new windows are very attractive and make such a difference in the appearance of the housewe just love them! We live on a busy street so are especially pleased with the way they cut down on the street noise. I'm sure we'll be saving on our a/c bill as well, since the windows are very tight. The job was completed in two days, and ***** and **** left everything spotless! I can't say enough good things about Mr. Build--I recommend this company enthusiastically and without reservation! Great job, Mr. Build!!!
