      My dad ************************* bought a car for me his daughter *********************** 3 weeks ago 2015 ********** Passat TSI $12,000 had problems took back next day with a/c (3 ) different times consecutive on the third day, I arrived with my father to pick up the car, and one of their staff members backed into something dented. The bumper took off some paint have pictures of it. Nobody wanted to claim responsibility to it. I took my car made complaints. no response since then I have found out that my pistons are pinging which means engine problems and also my transmission with my turbo boost is slipping so basically. and estimates of everything also, my father will also state that our sales person lied to us to sell. The car said that there was an oil change the first week I had it I took it to get an oil change. The oil has not been changed in a while then he lied to us stating that this car did not have an engine cover manifold which I learnt that was a lie. I had to buy one. That is a very important to the engine of the car. Mitsubishi firkins of Bradenton have not tried to call me back. Have not tried to fix any of the issues because I bought the car as is. But its like its a $12,000 car. This shouldnt under their guarantee shouldve been able to sell because their guarantee says they have nothing but the highest quality of cars well if thats the truth and not a lie, this car shouldnt of been able to be sold basically what Im being told is its as is so I guess I bought a lemon not only are my pistons pinging my transmission, my turbo, all of that and my AC and they backed into something and wont respond.

      Thank you for making us aware of the complaint.  This vehicle was service on 6-15-2024 and the following was addressed and repaired before the vehicle was listed for sale.

      A/C Compressor replaced, Oil Change, general inspection and oil gasket replaced.  The total of repairs was ******** to make the vehicle ready for sale.  Firkins did a good job in selling the customer an extended warranty.  If the customer kept it in place and did not cancel it. Any pinging or engine knocks are covered by the extended warranty.  The vehicle was dropped off after the sale and we did charge up the A/c Unit and it was working properly.  Additionally, we washed the vehicle and applied wax to go above and beyond.  The customer picked up the vehicle and left.  The customer is responsible to inspect the vehicle before leaving the dealership.  The customer called later that day and said there was damage to the vehicle.  We checked our security cameras and followed the vehicle on the footage and no one here damaged her vehicle.

      We are glad to have her come back in and address the engine issues under the warranty that they purchased.  Otherwise, based on year and miles.  The vehicle was sold AS IS......

      Mitsubishi Firkins I had my car repaired at Firkins (wasnt my first option but the insurance of the person who hit my car just offered Firkins to repair) and they changed my rear passenger door (after waiting for more than two months for the parts). The service was very poorly done with scratch on the inside door handle faux lather, overspray in my front window and mirror and a missing change of the molding for the rear wheel that was included in the agreement for the insurance company. Still calling and trying to have the car properly fixed something else happened. A part of the exterior door handle felt (the door they changed) and I called and they said they could not help me because they didnt have any Mitsubishi mechanic at all and to me to wait until they have it. So than, the entire door handle felt two days after (it was on Friday October 14th), again Ive called them and they said to me to schedule an appointment for Monday October 17th. I went there and after a lot of back and forth conversation with service and colision center, they said they would order the part, that the part would arrive on Thursday and they would paint it so I could stop by Monday (today) to have it installed. But nothing was done. I called before I go there and they said they dont know for sure when they will repair my car. I have no door handle in the car! Its unacceptable. I bought a brand new car and had it repaired in the dealership to have this kind of situation. I just dont know what else should I do.
