When my check engine light appeared, I needed to get it checked out. I was referred to Sure Automotives by a friend who has used them before. I was told that it was the catalytic converters & and that all four O2 oxygen sensors needed to be replaced. I was given a quote & agreed to it. Also, I mentioned I was using the vehicle to travel to ********* for the holidays in a few days. The car was fixed, & a month later, the check engine light came on, & the code read the O2 sensors. I took it back, & they rescanned the code & said that it could be a faulty sensor. Later that day, I received a call with about ten scenarios of what it could be. At that point, I didn't trust them. I looked under the car, took pics of the "brand new" converters, and realized the converters were not new, & one looked like it had never been replaced. I returned the car & asked if the parts were ****************** confirmed (several times) that they were. I then showed the manager the pictures I had taken, & she began making excuses as to why the two converters looked different, which didn't make sense at all. The pics I took clearly show that the parts are not new. I paid $4,242.17 for parts and labor. Now, I'm wondering if they replaced anything. With the light coming back on a few weeks later, they could have clearly reset the check engine light & charged me that price for the repairs. I am very upset. I no longer want nor trust this company to do anything else to my vehicle. This could have left my *********** stranded on the side of the road or, even worse, a crash!Initial Complaint

I contacted sure stop about my 2016 ***** **** ask if they had a diagnostic machine to locate problem with my **** they said yes, I dropped it off, they said they would charge for 1 hour to locate issue, after having my van for several days with no phone call to me I called them and they said its not fixed because their mechanic had to leave, I needed my van so said I will pick it up, upon picking it up not only was it not repaired but the dash had been damaged by they trying to remove the engine cover, please view pictures, they wrote a list of many things the problem could be which anyone could have done not to mention it looks like a child of about 9 years old wrote it find in Exhibit C, in addition I had to pay ****** or they wouldnt give me my **** they charged me a fee that was never disclosed and I never received a written estimate I had requested, I then took the van to Auto Works where their diagnostic machine located the problem in *************************************************************** just a couple hours.
