Took my suv to them, an oil leak caused my catalytic converter to clog. First, I was told it would be $1300.00. I gave them $800.00 and was told he'd finance the balance. Two days later they said they weren't allowed to finance. Okay. I went to pay the balance and was told that my charges increased to $2600.00 more. I asked about a repair time frame because of car rental, was told 1 week at the most. It was 2 weeks later before my vehicle was supposedly ready. I picked it up and much to my surprise I still have the oil leak. He DIDN'T fix the issue he charged me for. I placed clean cardboard under it to show them it's still leaking, I dropped the truck off again and he said there's no leak. That's a lie!! He returned my vehicle without the splash guard from the underside. I called and was told to come get it. The splash guard was just handed to me, without it's bolts, and I'm supposed to crawl under my vehicle, go buy bolts and replace it myself. Wth?? I can not and will not accept this rip off and am taking them to small claims court. I'm a 62 year old woman and **** the owner ripped me off!! Do not trust this company!! Beware: being friendly at the front desk (*******) doesn't justify outright theft and lies.Review from Kenneth Z.

I have been a happy and enthusiastic customer of Sure Stop Automotive since 2003. Recently the operational control of the business evolved to the second generation of family. My last visit to the business was my last visit to the business. To solve an issue: "A/C does not blow cold", required three visits. When I picked up the vehicle after the third visit I asked why the issue was not resolved in the first visit and was told they wanted to save the customer money. When I asked about the second visit they insisted they never touched the A/C just the other work I brought them. When I showed their work order where the issue was presented to them the reply was they did something to the A/C but never wrote it down or charged the customer which they do a lot! Explanations are totally unacceptable! Sure Stop Automotive has assured my visits to their facility did indeed sure stop.. R.I.P Al & Bill
