  I developed a health condition that is causing my immune system to attack the joints in my body. I called the gym that I was training at and informed them I would need a pause in my membership because I wouldnt be able to lift weights and continue damaging my joints while I was already facing difficulties walking. They agreed to pause the membership and I planned to return once or if my health issues could be resolved. The membership was a monthly contract. They continued charging my card anyways. I emailed them to ask them to stop, and for no reason at all they said they would cancel my membership but that I owed them a balance of 320.00$ They will not explain the sudden increase in balance despite having received previous on time payments. I contacted my bank and disputed all the charges. Upon the banks investigation they returned 200.00$ to my account. However, ********************** gym continues to call me and send harassing emails. At one point they attempted to charge my card multiple times on the same evening in different amounts, taking whatever it was that they could from me. A complete disregard for my health or my situation.

  I recently spoke with ****************** over the phone. ****** notified me she recently discovered her husband had placed a dispute with their credit card service for several months of her gym membership. ******, who was unaware this had happened during the time of writing to the BBB, believed the $300 outstanding balance on her account was the gym trying to take funds. This was not the case. Anytime someone disputes a charge or charges, the amount that is disputed is placed back on the persons account as delinquent in status. Since ****** was unaware, until recent, that her husband had disputed the charge, ****** did not understand why a $300 balance was shown on her account. the $300 was placed back on her account once her husband disputed the charges without notifying her. As of 10/10/23, everything has been resolved and all of her outstanding balances have been brought to zero and ****** has decided to place her membership on freeze until she is well again to use the facility. Both parties are in great standing with one another. ****** also wrote a very nice review for our facility after resolving the issue.
