Job Incomplete. He increased the price after the project started without a change in the project. He planted a tree 2 ft shorter than our request. We had a specific project for a specific price with a specific deadline for an event we were hosting. We are now almost 30 days past the deadline and the project is not complete. He first responded by text he was coming by but now has stopped communicating. The initial project that he gave the quote was $8032, after two weeks and past the deadline, he charged an additional $647.50. The project did not change. Photos attached do not include the empty space where he never planted two types of plants in two different areas. It indicates the lack of completing the shells and the condition of the tree.Business response

Hi,
We are very sorry to hear your dissatisfaction with the work that was provided. I have attached a few pictures which include the palm tree 1 week post installation that is shown in very good living condition. After speaking to multiple arborists the problem with the tree is the lack of watering from the home owner. This palm needs at least ****** gallons of water per day during the initial transplant for the first month and should NOT be watering using drip irrigation as discussed. Also in the attachment is the correct invoice that was sent with the additional adjustments you requested which includes the additional 4 yards of mulch requested and 1.5 yards of shell for the back yard to help cover speaker wires per your request this invoice and also has removed the items that were not available during this time of the year and we adjusted the price also for the 8.5ft palm and not 10ft. The total invoice went from $8,032 to $8,275.50 so the adjustment was $243.50 total to account for the additional material requested. The checks that were sent totalled $7,800 and not $8,275.50 which is short $475.50.
