On 12/07/22 My husband and I brought our GMC ******* into Weeki Washee car wash for its routine "Works car wash". We have been going there for over 4 years now. As we were waiting the tv had your ad on and my husband asked if they do Motorhomes and he said yes. My husband told the man that our motorhome was been out in the sun and the clearcoat has peeled off in place's. The owner's dad told us that the ceramic coating would take care of the dull cracked look that the motorhome has. He told us that they acid wash the motorhome if needed to take all the old clear coat off. Then they would apply the ceramic coating to the motorhome, and it would look like new for about 6-9 months until the coating wore off. At that time they had a Christmas special going on, so we bought a certificate for $600.00 for this to be done sometime in the new year. My husband had to have emergency surgery, so the ceramic coating was put off until February 22 at 9:00am was our appt. We were there and dropped the motorhome off. we were called at 12:26pm we got a call saying the motorhome was done. We went to pick it up and it was terrible, it was smudgy, waxy, dirty. to say the least. My husband went up to the owner that was there that day (He doesn't work there very often so that was strange) to tell him we are not happy; he waved my husband off rudely and said I have a manager I pay to do that. So, my husband went to find the manager when I walked up as the owner came out to see what the problem was. Th Motorhome was in the very back of the lot where they were supposed to have done the work, we were at the time up by the office. The owner that claims to be a vet, was not polite like most vet I've met, he was rude, nasty, and wouldn't even listen to what we were unhappy about. His dad was on the phone and when we told him what we were told his dad lied and denied it. Neither my husband or I have no Idea of how-to acid wash or ceramic coat a motorhome. We wouldn't know that you can acid wash anything. That is what we were told by the dad, and we have no reason to lie about it. We then were told to leave the premises very sternly and rudely. The owner never came over to see how bad the motorhome looked. I'm sure it doesn't want us going back to our RV Park and spreading the word not to ever take their Motorhome to Weeki washee car wash, and they can see the results of their work. We didn't even have the keys to the motorhome, he had already been paid $600.00, and we were being thrown off the premise. We hadn't got rude or out of hand until now. We wanted the keys to the motorhome. The owner told his employee to go get the keys as we are never allowed in his company. I can't believe the anger and temper this man had, because we weren't satisfied with the work. We weren't looking to get free work; we just want what we were told. Or at least finish the job. the wax is still swirled on there. When we got home, I went on their website, now I'm mad at myself. in the reviews it states that they don't finish their work, sloppy work, etc. When I went to their website, I found out that the price he charged me wasn't with a discount either. I'm sorry, but this man is very rude man, that never looked at the motorhome to see if our complaint was real. I do have a lot of before and after pictures from the same day. Before we left weeki washee car wash (right from their parking lot) and the same after we came to pick up the motorhome. How do you wash, dry and ceramic coat by hand a 30-foot motorhome in 3 hours 26 minutes? Thats what Im saying.
