I stopped going to that clinic in May because Jasmine McCorvey is an awful counselor. She's very rude, and condescending. She has no business being in the mental health field at all. I still had $68 in my account when I left and I've been trying to get a refund ever since. My check finally came today to the clinic and I had to go pick it up. I mind you, I've been asking via email and voicemail about my refund. When I spoke to an actual human in July, they said it wasn't there and it would take 4 to 6 weeks. I finally got a call from them on Monday that my check had arrived. The date on the check is June 12th. I was told it has been at that clinic since the end of June. So I was lied to. I asked about this, and was told that Megan was too busy and that's why I hadn't been contacted. The person who was in charge of the financial as apparently not there anymore. Megan is a terrible director and the counselors that actually care in that place are few and far between. When I had complained while I was still a patient there, I feel like I was ganged up on when I was merely trying to find a resolution and get a different counselor because I was uncomfortable with Jasmine. So I was lied to about my money. I was gaslit whenever I was trying to address my concerns, all of this coming from people who are supposed to try to help people with their mental health issues and substance abuse problems. They seem to not understand that patients are paying for these services, we're not on probation and forced to be there. We deserve dignity and respect. That's why I left and went somewhere else and found that.
