I hired A/C *** heating and cooling . It gave me a estimate of $5599 for a apartment of 725 sqft. Was agree either the price , so on 11 of November I got a guy for installation .everything was fine . When he told me that he finish the job , I was surprised because he told me he cannot put a door because it was not his job but they will send someone soon I was suspicious because he asked me to paid full $5599. I asked him if a can give him lest because the job was not finish, he call his boss and they said remove $400 . Said ok but after I got a nightmare, also I didnt mention that went he left he took my original metal door , I discover after he was gone. After the first 10 days I called and asked went I will have somebody to install the door . He told me he didnt go nobody to do that but he will try to find someone to finish the job. Also was not only the door because the guy who install the air conditioning want to see something and he cut the drywall like a square of 12 by 12 inches . So on top of the door he need someone to fix the opening , was calling all the time with no answer . After almost Three weeks he told me he got someone coming between 9 am to 1 pm was waiting . At 2 pm I called again and the boss told me he will calling back , no answer , I called again and the response want the guy he try to rich was no responding . After few days same thing told a guy will come , I lost my day again but nobody . Another day was after 5pm nobody .Finally the boss told me he didnt work with someone for install the door and told me I have the $400 witch was not pay and I can find someone myself . I told him about the opening his guy did but refuse to finish that I asked to give me my original door because that was my property and he didnt have the right to take it . I could try to sell it because I discover to buy a new metal door is more expensive then $ 400 plus now I have to buy a bigger one to convert the drywall opening . He didnt want to give me my door he stole . I want a to have $ 500 for the new door plus installationInitial Complaint

I had a unit installed 1 year ago, been a few small problems since I've had it but nothing to major. Well had a good rain storm the other night and had a few power surges, my ac unit went off and wouldn't come back on. I called AC Joe, and told them my unit wasn't working and they sent someone out. The tech told me my unit was fried and I needed a new unit and it would be another 8k. I asked them about my warranty and why couldn't I use it and they said the warranty doesn't cover the entire unit which was now broken. They harassed me over and over saying they could contact my home owners insurance and file with them to help get me money. I said no, I want my warranty I paid for. WEll I called another very nice company to come out and it was a bad fuse and only cost me $200 for everything. This company is scam artists taking advantage of the elderly.Initial Complaint

This company ac joe sent an employee justin who is the owners son .. he was hired to drain and unclog ac pipes ..instead he poked a hole in my unit and placed a red electrical plug ( see attachment) to seal the hole he made ... not only did he damage my unit but refused to do the job he was called to do in the first place and left .. His dad joe says this is routine ( please see attachment of text messages from joe) Since i feel they intentionally damaged my unit I wil hire another company to replace the piece that Justin damaged... I text the owner letting him know that I will be sending him the bill and he ignored my messages. ( please see attachment) Customers Beware!!!!!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2021/08/23) */ Customer called in requesting a routine maintenance that we have on special for $39.00 The Tech arrived found the unit not functioning or working properly. Unit was internally flooded out the ductwork. We inserted scratch all in the supply to help drain the water. We then put a plug in it after we were done. Told customer the age of the system. Advised customer with the condition of the system needed a new supply and return plenum advised to upgrade the system. Customer chose not to do anything at this time. Customer did not pay anything. Here are texts between us and customer. Also pictures and video of the system Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2021/08/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) He is a liar . They never performed work they were hired to do .they poked a hole then said they weren't going to do anything and left it leaking. Dad is just covering up for his son who damaged unit and left it like that ... why didn't they perform inspection that they were hired to do ...the father and son duo are a bunch of scammers ..son damaged unit and leaves it leaking and just left and said I'm not going to do anything here ... I complained to the company.. which is his dad .. and as you can see . He then wants to come access his sons damage for an opportunity to upsell... . These guys are big time scammers . Damaged unit and leaked water all over my garage .do not trust these guys .
