**Terrible Experience with Affordable AC - Untrustworthy and Lacking Empathy** In 2022, I needed a new AC unit and reached out to Affordable. Initially, they were pleasant, likely because they just wanted our money. Since then, we've had nothing but issues. We've had four different techs, all giving different answers. Tech #1 said we needed maintenance. Tech #2 replaced the thermostat and drained the secondary pan. Tech #3, a supervisor, claimed our unit was too small because they didn't account for our tall ceilings during the assessment. He offered a "discount" on a new unit, which is absurd. It's not my fault they made a mistake to make a sale. We got a new unit and all new ductwork, but the issue persisted. The AC overworks and runs 24/7 because the unit is too small. I even cleaned the secondary pan myself, but the AC stopped working again. I called the 24/7 line and Mona was great, sending out a tech, but I had to pay $150. The last tech did nothing useful, claimed the drain pipe was clogged, and wanted to charge $1400 for a power flush. They admitted to putting in a small unit and supposedly "fixed" our drain pipe before. This tech was incompetent, just like the manager who has ignored our calls. Don't worry, I'll be emailing the owner as well. Avoid this company at all costs.

Affordable air and heat refuse to take care damage that was caused by a union not being tightened properly at the time of installation of the inside unit. Now I have a new floor damage from water. The float value did not shut the unit down as it was suppose to. They suggested that I might have loosened the union so water would come out on my new floor, after I found where the water was coming from I tightened it up. The service technician came out this morning cleaned the line and then the inside Unit would not come on because the breaker inside the unit went bad, he removed the breaker and bypassed it. I told their manager I wanted a good breaker put back in the unit that is still under warranty and after a few words he suggested maybe should get another company to take care of it. After the breaker is replaced I will never use this company AGAIN Here is the good part the service technician offered a one year warranty for the floor damage
