This was the most awful customer service experience EVER! We were issued a NASTY, sticky dented boat with mold and mildew covering every seat. Despite terrible weather and the inability to ride the boat, I still had to clean it and then pay for gas. The staff refused to let me speak with a manager, lied to me twice about the whereabouts of the manager and even refused to tell me the managers name. They offered NO assistance to make this right. Boat renters should BEWARE!!!!!!! We have been robbed and want others to avoid this issue!!!!!!

I am sorry you feel this way but this review is unfair and untrue. We cleaned the boat prior to you picking it up. You came and inspected the boat prior to picking it up and said nothing about the condition. At the end of the first day we received a call saying there were some goldfish under the seats in one of the compartments that had been missed. One of the employees offered to clean it up or you could bring it back and we would give you your money back for the remaining days. You said you wanted to keep the boat and things were fine. I should add that you were given a $350 discount and given a bigger boat because of the size of your group. We didn't hear anything else until you returned on your final day. When you asked for some money back due to the weather. We said we couldn't as their were no advisories and it had just been rainy. We sent boats out everyday. We had also given you the option to bring the boat back early but again you didn't. That is when you began to bring up these other issues. We told you everyone names. You wanted last names and cell phone numbers which we don't give out that kind of personal information. I am the owner my name is Eric and they told you I was in the doctor at the time. I called you back an hour later no answer and the day after as well. In addition we offered you free rental day as well because of the weather and the goldfish. I don't believe we could have done anything else.

This review is neither unfair or untrue. The truth is I was treated completely unfairly. This business has absolutely zero respect for customers. If you did, you would not lie about the condition of the boat or the fact that it was NOT cleaned prior to use even during a pandemic! I was also lied to about where the owner was. I was told "his wife is having a baby", "he is at the doctor with his niece" AND then "he is in Pennsylvania". You absolutely should never charge someone over $700 for a boat in this condition, when you KNOW there was no opportunity for the boat to be used due to the weather. Something needs to be done to make this right! A voucher for another day on a dirty, dilapidated, run down boat is NOT an effort to make it right!!!!
