In the summer of 2024 I hired Eagle Fence (which I originally thought was Tropical Fence, but later found out they are owned by the same person). The 6 white PVC fence looked great until hurricane ****** hit. Then when I lost two corners of it, I discovered there was ZERO cement underneath the posts! Their contract stated they would put 60 pounds of concrete underneath each post. When I sent them videos and photos showing this, they refused to make this right. They still wanted to charge me $1,400 to repair the fence when it would have never failed had they put the concrete in. I have had two general contractors provide me with estimates to repair the fence and put concrete in the posts. It will cost me approximately $2000 because they didnt do what I paid them to. I originally spent over $8,600 on this fence. They took advantage of a single female who is nearing the senior citizen phase because they thought they could get away with it.

Fencing company was hired, company sub contracted the job out to another contractor and didnt use quality materials Infact material used is different from whats submitted to the permit office. Company caused damage to project and left the project with 3 non working gates. Multiple setting post are lending. Hinges and gates are incorrectly installed and also very unlevel. Wood wrapped, cut uneven. Owners refuse to set up meeting to see the job and fix it accordingly. Happy to send lots of images and correction estimates gathered by other companies

Contracted Eagle Fence with payment down of $3,500 to install a wood shadow box fence. Eagle Fence arrived on May 2nd to remove existing fence and start install of new fence. I was observing the install and seen they were installing the fence incorrectly. The pickets were being installed 8 inches off the ground. I called *** (the salesman) and he asked me to tell them to stop the install. I received a call from Eagle Fence letting me know that *** did not have the authority to advise the workers to stop. The workers left and came back on May 8th to start installing the fence again. Once again, they were not installing the fence correctly, so I called ***/ or Eagle Fence on May 12th, 29th, July 1, 3rd, 5th, 10th, 11th, 18th, 24th, 26th, August 28th, and Sept 5th. In the meantime Eagle Fence sent a crew out at least 5 times to fix it. Every time the crew came, they would remove incorrect parts of the fence and put-up new pickets, but it is still the wrong measurements for a shadow box fence. They reassured me numerous times that the fence was done correctly, but upon inspection, it still does not meet standards. They simply moved pickets from one spot to another. I called Eagle Fence today, September 5, 2023, and spoke with ****** to let them know I would pay $1,000 more towards their efforts for them to sign off on everything and consider the contract paid in full, with no liens put on my home. ****** informed me that **** had taken pictures, and the fence was considered complete and fixed. I submitted 8 pictures that I took & sent for their review, showing that it was still not fixed. My landscaping was ruined, & 6 lbs. of nails were scattered over my yard & 2 neighbors. I was also informed if I did not pay the balance of $3,500, they would put a lien on my home. I had CapeFence come and look at the fence and was informed that Eagle Fence messed up multiple times. Was told by CapeFence they would fix Eagle Fence's mess for $2,000 with a 2-year warranty.

I contracted Eagle Fence for approximately $2000 to reinstall a yard fence that was destroyed by Hurricane ***. I paid a $1000 deposit. The contract said they would use existing parts to rebuild the fence. Some of those parts were damaged. Surely existing parts do not mean damaged parts. Screws for a gate door is missing. I am willing to give Eagle Fence a $250 good-faith payment now and pay the other $750 upon completion of job. I can also pay for the new parts - two foundation rails and a fence section with a hole puncture. I could also place the money in some type of escrow account.

THIS REVIEW IS WRITTEN WITH PROS and CONS:Pro: They started and completed the fence before the estimated time.Pro: The price was reasonable compaired to other fencing companies.Pro: The finished product looks good.CON: They had to return to fix a latch that they had drilled. The holes were too big and the latch fell off. This added another week to the finished product. The gate was un-usable until they repaired their mistake, which meant that my dog couldn't be allowed in the rear yard for any length of time.CON: During the install the crew hit and broke an underground sprinkler pipe, which went undiscovered until I noticed that the grass throughout that zone was turning brown. WHAT MADE THIS WORSE IS - They knew they broke the pipe and a sprinkler head, but failed to report it to me or the main office. Instead, they hid their mistake by placing a large concrete paver from the next door lot over the break so the water wouln't be seen shooting into the air! The repair was $150.00 dollars, not covered by the fence company.Mistakes happen, but to try and hide the mistake (broken pipe) without reporting the damange is dishonest and lacks integrity.Bottom Line: Watch what the install company does. They my seem like their on the "up & up", but are they really?

On July 1st of 2022 I hired Eagle Fence to build a fence for $9,038 dollars to be the primary barrier for the pool I am building. Eagle fence was very competitive price wise and appeared to have great customer service from start to finish. The fence is good quality and looks great! Eagle Fence responded quickly to two issues that I had with the fence before they received the final payment.. I did not heed the warning other reviewers left I believed the replys from Eagle Fence defending themselves from the accusations. I made the mistake of paying Eagle Fence what they were owed in good faith as I felt I had been treated very well up to that point and if my fence did not pass inspection they would stand by their work. I couldnt have been more wrong. My fence failed inspection on 1/18/23 due to my double gate door not latching and locking under its own power per the City of Cape Corals code to which Eagle Fence is completely aware ***** with Eagle Fence said I would be contacted in the event the inspection failed. I was never contacted that my fence failed inspection I only learned of the failure because the company building my pool informed me. The following month the permit for my fence expired. Eagle Fence refuses to apply for another permit or to come fix there work to bring my fence into compliance with city code. My pool can not be finished and Eagle Fence refuses to respond to my emails and if I call all I get from the desk lady is ***** is busy and yes sir we will send someone out. It is now April and nothing has been done nor have I gotten any response from anyone with any authority at Eagle Fence. I do not recommend anyone use this company as they have no morals or ethics once they get there money they are out. I paid over nine thousand dollars to have a fence built to the City of Cape Corals code. I now have a 9k hole burnt in my pocket an illegal fence and a 70k hole in my backyard they can not be finished.

On 10/17/22 we paid Eagle Fence a total amount of ********* to remove damaged fence from hurricane *** and to reinstall a perimeter fence for our home. The installers did a poor job which I will detail below; came back to fix the issues a second time but only amplified issues to the extent that my dog was injured on a sharp fence post. The company offered to have the installers out for a third time, but after the many problems with no resolution, we asked only that they would supply fencing material for a gate and a discount so that we may attend to the problems ourselves. Rather than offering any type of discount for everything we need to redo and frankly make safe for our home, the company threatened to put a lien on the property, which is the only reason we went ahead and paid the remaining balance. Poor services include:- We paid for removal of existing fence. If we had known the company wanted to cut the posts, leaving jagged dangerous edges, we would have done removal ourselves. We told them during initial installation as well as when they came out to fix the issue that if they were going to cut them, they needed to be cut where they were sufficiently buried so as not to be a danger to our kids and pets. They left many pieces cut above the ground, one where my dog sliced his foot. - They installed a poor gate. It is oddly shaped. It was dragging on the ground. To fix, they cut off the bottom. - There are 3 random eight foot sections when the rest of the fence is six feet.- They did not properly concrete. - We are charged for all new material and they used old posts. There are posts with our house paint that we know are not new. - stripped out the s**** for large gate. In addition to these and more mistakes, they abused our personal property. They cut our hose and my daughters playground as well as left a mess including dangerous items like saw blades and screws.

Eagle Fence Corp advertises a lifetime warranty on all products. A gate has become unlevel and no longer shuts properly. They advised that the gate hardware is no longer under warranty and that I would be subject to a service call fee. I have already spent over 2000 dollars on repairs for past storm damage that isn't covered. I would like either a free repair, or a significant refund on the original purchase price of the fence as there is clearly no lifetime warranty that is honored under any circumstances to justify them being well over the price of any competitor.

On March 2nd 2022 I retained this company to install a fence (total price $3,795.50) in my home. I made partial progress payments on 03/03/2022 ($2,000) and on June 2nd ($1,000), total $3,000. The company completed the installation on May 3rd, but the majority of panels were scratched and damaged. A representative from the company returned on 5 times in May 2022 but the problems were not corrected. Instead, a portion of the fence was even worse after the company came to fix it - it was no longer level with the rest of the fence. After yet another request to correct and complete the work to a proper standard, the company refused. Instead, the owner demanded the final portion of the payment ($795.50) and threatened that he would send someone to completely remove the fence from my property if payment was not made. After multiple attempts, this company has been unable and unwilling to correct its shoddy workmanship, and has been refusing to make any further repairs.

On June 22nd, 2022 I hired Eagle Fence to do some repairs to my fence, when they repaired my fence they removed my pavers without asking me first. They also spray painted my pavers. I was inside my house during the repairs and they did not even let me know they were at the property. Good thing my 2 dogs were not in the backyard because they may have tried to escape. The manager admitted they did not have permission to remove the pavers and admitted fault. She also mentioned they should have let me know they were at my property prior to doing the repairs. When I asked them to help resolve the issue they said the owner would not pay for the repairs. The damage to my pavers will cost me more than the repairs to the fence. I completely regret hiring them and should have looked for other options.
