BBB COMPLAINT: DIAMOND GULF CONSTRUCTION LLC LICENSE: ********** We are the Buyers of a new home in **********, ** built by Diamond Gulf Construction, LLC (DGC); purchase date of Feb 27, 2023. We are submitting this complaint to gain resolution and to help other customers with their choice of a trustworthy business. As of this purchase date we have not gained full completion of work. This is after submitting several defects where DGC a) acknowledged the lacking yet rarely accurately followed-thru, b) sent sub-contractors who either made the defects worse, argued with each other and/or c) lacked basic standards of quality.While DGC may state that the prior years Sept 23 hurricane affected supply chain, access to workers etc., it was basic lack of management and communications that enhanced these problems. Examples:- Painting our entire interior the wrong color - Installing toilets that are all leaking - Electrical outlets that are upside down with many switches not working - Installing appliances that did not fully operate (range, W/D, refrigerator)- Having to rebuild and repaint new kitchen cabinets due to poor installation - Not ordering shower glass doors and walls until weeks after move-in - Recent issue includes the master electrical circuit turning off every other day Additional documentation has been submitted to the BBB.We are seeking the following resolutions communicated 45 days ago, yet with no formal response from DGC since:- Install BBQ trim, fix broken master bath fan - Repair kitchen ceiling light switches - Repair remaining 2 leaking toilets - Refund of $3335 - Landscaping not installed ($2400)- 3 dead trees DGC agreed to reimburse ($750)- 2 GrubHub meals agreed by DGC due to lack of kitchen access during painting ($100)- Unused pool tile paid by owner ($85)- There are several owner-paid concerns that are not listed While we understand an effort by DGC to address these issues, the lack of follow-thru has led to this complaint.
