Through Uhaul hired this company to unload truck. Uhaul defaults payment to four hours of work. So paid this mover $360 for four hours of work. Workers came and worked less than two hours. Called ***** at this company and asked for two hours of refund. ********************* says they dont have to refund. Called Uhaul and conferenced them in with ***** and they told him he owed me two hours of work minus 15% which ***** would refund me separately. ***** apologized to me several times and said he didnt know that. He then texted me and asked for my Venmo to pay me. He never did. He then wouldnt return any of my phone calls or texts until the next day where he said he didnt have to pay anything back. I called him several times and he wont call me back. I asked him to show up on 4/1 at same location and work the two hours he still owes me and he never responded. I want my money back or the time he owes me since there is more moving to be done by 4/1.Business response

Hello, I wanted to respond to this complaint. ***** booked our services through uhaul moving help. She booked us for 4 hrs. It took my crew 2hrs to service. ***** called me and ask if she get credited for the additional 2hrs I explained to her as well as moving help policy. We do not refund unused hours because we have to block our day for window time of service.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:First, my name is ******. Second **Haul got on the phone with this gentleman from this company and explained to him very clearly that he shouldnt have been paid for hours they didnt work and that as the person paying the bill - I should have called **Haul to change the hours from 4 hours to the actual hours worked (2). The **Haul person clearly outlined the policy to the mover and what he needed to do next to reimburse me. The mover then sent me a text response saying he would provide me with the credit. He never did. I then texted him and asked him to come back to my house to finish their hours since I had more moving to do. The mover never answered me and simply ignored all contact I made via text and phone calls. The mover then sent me a text about a week later saying he didnt have to pay me back if he didnt want to even though he had another **Haul employee tell them the same thing (he owed me the diff between 4 and 2 hours labor). Thats all I ever heard. I
i offered this mover additional work to work the two hours he owed me and I asked for a refund of two hours if he didnt want to do additional work. He simply ignored me and refused to directly contact me for resolution. Thats not ok and is not the way to do business.
