      We signed a contract with Landscape Pros for plant removal, new plantings including specified trees and paving stone to replace the front walk and patio area. The color of the paving stones was specified and the time in which the project was to be started (within 4 weeks) along with an estimate to finish the work within two - three weeks of the start date. We made it clear that the timing was critical since we spend summers up north. We gave a deposit of $4,000 on a $10,000 contract price as soon as the contract was signed. The work began with Landscape Pros removing plants, in early March. There were two large Gardenia bushes that we wanted to save and they assured us that they could transplant. They did not return until mid March when we were away. While we were gone, they came and planted the wrong trees (Silver Palms instead of the Bismark Palms specified in the contract), mishandled the Gardenia bush transplanting killing them both, broke the irrigation and ran up a water bill of almost $1,000 before a neighbor notified us of a problem. One of the trees died and they have stalled about doing anything presumably trying to get past the warranty period. One tree and at least on plant were never delivered and there is a patch of missing sod after they had to dig it up and fix the mess they made of it the first time. They came back later and dug up the front walk and patio area before they noticed that they did not have enough paving stones to do the job. They left it like that, an eye sore and a hazard for a month, never even attempting to remediate the problem. We called and texted them countless times trying to determine what they were going to do but only received empty promises. Now they are telling us 3 - 6 months to get the paving stones that they told us they had in stock in the first place.
