Contacted them May 3rd. They were coming out to replace door After I got Quote. I tried contacting them many times. They finally called and were coming out that day. Never showed ,never called. Contacted them again. They were coming out the next Wednesday, never showed never called. Would like door replaced. I got a good reference from a friend who said they did a good job.

If I could place negative 5 star review I would. I carelessly contacted Anything In Door for replacement of screen and front doors because my husband and I believe in helping mom and pop business whenever we can. And it was my biggest mistake. I've been informed by ************** that as soon as he gets our deposit check he will call us about appointment for installation. Well, I personally deliver him the check because I believed it would be faster. Not the case. He cleared the check and it was it. I haven't heard ANYTHING from Anything In Doors for a week. So, I tried to call, to send texts, emails with no result. Finally ************* called and told me they are ready to install and the next day they did. Halleluiah! Only the thing is we paid almost $3000 for NEW doors ( as we thought they were) but in reality we got SPRAY PAINTED screen door (that got fully rusted from top to bottom in 3 weeks) and a front door with a DEFECTED bottom lock. When they were leaving after the installation I have mentioned to ************* that lock is jamming and he told me that there is nothing wrong with the lock. Well, since the day of installation we haven't used a bottom lock for this problem. On the very bottom of his contract and in very tiny writing it says "Contractor shell guarantee all work against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of the completion" but he told us that it's not HIS problem and WE should contact the ********** where he got the doors at (one defected/ one rusted!) and has promised to provide us with the warranty numbers for the doors. Well,it's been almost 8 months and we are still waiting for those numbers. I bet ************* is waiting as well. For "a period of one year" to be over. Bad bad experience. No communication, not so ever. No social nor professional skills. Absolutely unreliable business. My patience is wearing out and the next step to be is to file a complaint against "Anything But Doors".

There is no one at our business by the name of *********************.
We are aware of this disgruntled customer. We've been working for the Board at her Condo Complex for the past 5 years or more. She is coming after our company for no reason at all.  She has harassed our company since we got into contract asking us when we would complete our install. Install and completion  was clearly specified before deposit was taken. She sent emails and phone calls making claims we weren't able to handle her job. We completed the job of installing her fiberglass door, and supplied and installed a storm door that was purchased from our Commercial Account at *********** Everything was completed and satisfactory. The board can confirm this as well.

One month later she sent an email stating is was rusting. Confirming she was still able to enter/exit/lock her home, and that this was just "surface rust" after she cleaned the door we contacted ********** about the Door rusting. We did not receive any response for solutions. We arrived on site to paint the door to stop the rust, and showed up on site and there was no rust.

She has been harassing our company and employees, and making false accusations, and personal threats stating that she wishes god will strike us down. We fear we are nearing the point of litigation for making false claims about our company and making personal harmful threats towards our employees and company.

We had communication from start to finish, and with the cosmetic issue of her storm door. Anything In Doors showed up on site and there was no rust. The Board has been notified of this issue as well.

We have exhausted all avenues to rectify this issue, and she still continues to come after us what can we do?

    Customer Response

Having on my hands a dying of Alzheimer's and prostate cancer husband who is in and out of the hospitals, I check my emails once a month and it takes me forever to reply. So, as you can see I am not some old-bored with nothing to do- retiree going "after" Mr. J just to kill some spare time for I have none. For 2 months after installation I've been asking him to take care of the rust on screen door. In vain. I gave up and have used a rust protection spray ( which is oil based -temporary- solution, meaning that whatever flies in the air sticks to the door and stays). That's why when he finally showed up ( 5 months later) he didn't see any corrosion. For the last SIX months I am just trying to get the warranty number from Mr. J to deal with this issue/supplier myself. At the very beginning he told me I would need to contact the Home Depot. Then he said he got the doors not from Home Depot but from some other place, thus he needs THREE-FOUR months to get the number for me. Bottom live is Mr. J is pathological liar who did a lousy job for us and doesn't want to take any responsibilities for his misdeed. Bad for business attitude.
