2021 We used this paining company to paint our empty rental home in Florida. (The entire condo was painted including walls, baseboards, doors and ceilings) I will say a that the beginning of the job was going rather smoothly. They did not finish as promised on time, as I had furniture arriving , which they were well aware of. The painters seemed very polite and since we were there putting together the new condo we provided the painters with unlimited cold water, donuts and hot cookies during the several days they were there. The painters would arrive about 830 and would leave mid afternoon. If there was anything to be done near the end of the day the work got a bit sloppy in their hurry to leave. They also asked us to dispose of their empty paint buckets and trash as they said they didn't have room in the truck for it. They simply left it outside our front door or behind the garage for us to take care of. I also found that they used our bathtub to rinse out their paint brushes and that created a huge mess for us to clean up. They used our trash bags as well. The communication was going ok but the painters seemed to be on a different page than Bryan, the owner , as to what would realistically get accomplished that day. All work was to be complete on Tuesday and I was assured that this would be accomplished I received a bill Tuesday morning that said it was due that day. I received a second emailed bill a few hours later saying that the bill was due and had I overlooked payment. Early that afternoon I paid the bill in full as I had promised to do. Then (after the bill was paid) the painters said they would not be finishing that day and would come back Wednesday but should be done mid day. I reminded them of the furniture arrival at 10 am Wednesday. They then told me that someone would be back no later than 8 am to finish rolling the walls of the bedroom, clean the floors, get the trash etc. No one showed Wednesday morning and we called Bryan and left a message When he finally called back at 930 he said he guessed he should have called me and we insisted someone come asap ato finish this. He said we would work it out at the end of the day but it wasn't a big deal and to just have the furniture delivered and put the furniture in the middle of the room. I assured him it was a big deal to me. He said someone was on their way but they showed up at noon after the furniture was sitting in the room. The painter rolled the wall but did not put the 2nd coat on any of the trim or close to the ceiling or baseboards My husband asked why the painter did not cover any of the new furniture and he was told not to worry about it as he was not sloppy! It was clearly very visible and we sent Bryan photos. We did not receive any response and we continued to call and text. When he did respond, he had the nerve to ask us if we had approved the paint before the painter left, as if it were our fault that the painter didn't finish the job! This was Wednesday early evening . We kept calling and texting and didn't receive any response from Bryan. (We had also been texting Jonathon, the sales director and project manager, and he never responded at all during this time). On Thursday we left text messages and phone messages for Bryan. My husband tried one more time to text him late Thursday Finally at 430 Thursday afternoon (2 days after the work was to be completed and he had been PAID IN FULL) Bryan text us back and said that he would send someone on Friday morning! He had been told several times we were flying home on Friday morning! By this time my wife had went to Home Depot and purchased paint brushes and finished all the trim and touch up herself as we were leaving Friday and the work had to be completed. We also spent Thursday cleaning all the floors, disposing of the trash and general clean up. The lack of professionalism and communication was ridiculous after they had been paid. They completely walked away from the job after they had been paid and had no intention of finishing the work or doing any clean up The funny thing is is that all the painters had to do was stay maybe 1 -2 more hours to finish on Tuesday but they left as soon as we had paid the bill. The funny thing is, is that my wife had a conversation with the owner, Bryan, and he told her that businesses had to be careful to give good service as people could write reviews!!!! Seriously??? I hope this helps saves someone else the trouble and aggravation.
