I secured many quotes...Penguin was clearly best value. The communication was terrific as deal with owners of the company. During construction had to deal with many supply issues due to pandemic related issues. However, Penguin went out of their way to find ways to get material and construct my pool. Their trades have been with them for years and do outstanding quality work. The tile installer is best I have ever seen! With exception of permitting delays/issues was fairly smooth project considering small lot for maneuvering equipment which often never gets considered. .Our pool completed late spring within budget/quote and looks/works tremendous.Review from Frank S

Customer service practically non existent. 2nd pool that we built and we’ve had 3 times more problems with it in 4 years than the first pool in 8 years built by another company.

Penguin Pool office staff does not follow through with phone calls. I was offered call back with information and or a email. Never happens. I have been requesting information on my $100,000 pool they put in at my home in 2018. I need to have a copy of my warranty. I do have a book with information. But the warranty was not placed into book. It took me 2 weeks to even get office staff back on the phone after waiting on a phone call. I was told my warranty was 3 years. So I asked for a copy of it, They tell me they cant get to it because they moved offices. So I am going to say they are pulling it out of there *** on 3 year or 5 year. I have some simply things that need to be done and I as a consumer should be able to call them for this information. I was told 2 days ago they would email it to me. Today 2 days later still don't have it and they are not able to get to it. NO GOOD BUSINESS practice as far as I am concern. Rate them (F) That is alot of money for this POOL and NO customer service what so ever. I will go to plan B and call someone who will collect this information from them. I will also Call BBB to place a compliant .Review from Mary Ann F

Scheduled an estimate for the 29th. Waited over an hour passed the scheduled time. No one showed. No call. Called the office and someone explained three of their job sites were washing out and my estimate would have to be rescheduled. So first of all, they can't even reinforce multiple job sites properly, secondly, they are so unprofessional and lack communication skills that they cannot reach out to their appointments to reschedule them when something arises. **** happens so I rescheduled for this morning. Waited another HOUR passed the scheduled estimate time, and called the office. Now they have no evidence of rescheduling my estimate at all. I've taken two days off, costing my household money, and this is the level of disappointing service they provide and all they can offer is to reschedule a third time. No faith in this company, and if they have multiple pool sites washing out in the middle of rainy season- where we have heavy rains every single day as we have for rainy season for decades now- how competent can they really be?? Save yourself a nightmare waste of time.
