On April 2021, I went because I had a toothache. They told me I had an abscess and needed a root canal and a crown. And that it would cost me $1875.00. that I had to pay $937.50 right away, which I did, I was prescribed antibiotics, and they gave me an appointment. I returned on April for the root canal procedure and molds were taken to make the crown. They charged me the other part of the balance ($937.50) and I left that day with a temporary crown. Weeks later, they called me to inform me that the crown had arrived, I went and, despite having molds done, the crown was too big. They attempted to fix the crown, but they happened to damage it. They left me with the Damaged/enlarged crown as a temporary one. I also informed them that I was still in pain, and they said it was normal. Reached back weeks later to inform me that the new crown had already arrived. I went, had the new crown put in, but, after a few weeks, the crown broke off and caused a lot of pain. I returned, and they were able to temporarily fix the broken crown with acrylic. Once again, I had to wait another 5-6 weeks. Called stating that the new crown had arrived, Appointment scheduled for October. They measured my new crown and said it should fit fine, however, I once again insisted that I was still in pain. They decided to take an x-ray prior to installing the new crown, and not only did they discover that the original abscess was still there, but it was even larger than before. This time, I was sent home with my tooth exposed because they did not even place a temporary crown. I was told that they would contact me on October 15 to see how we should proceed. Until today, nearly 5 months after this date, they have yet to contact me. In conclusion, I paid for a root canal & crown April 2021. As of March 2022, not only do I not have a crown to protect my exposed tooth from the root canal but also the abscess is much larger and the pain remains.
