      Bought an "as is" next day broke down. Brought it back to John's Motors,inc. In Casselberry, Fl. He said his "mechanic" fixed issue. Thermo unit. Broke down next morning. ****** ***** said it had no coolant fluid and black slug (covering up a leak). Broke down again, now need engine replacement. When we got the car back from John's Motors, after fixing it, the car has not ran again. And out now 300.00 towing and testing. Went to John's motors to try to resolve issues. Nothing but ** excuses. Basically, we are stuck with a car, not driven over 20 miles by us, needs a replacement engine, and car payments. Out 11,000. Negligence on John Motors, inc.

      We sold a 2008 Honda Accord LX to the above customer after they were approved for financing of the vehicle. The dealership sold the vehicle as "AS IS - No Warranty," but since the vehicle was financed it includes a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty under Wynn's Extended Care that is provided by the finance company when the customer purchased the vehicle. Moreover; the vehicle was test driven by the customer, myself, and my mechanic. During the test drives the vehicle had no malfunctions. This was an unforseen, unexpected, and unfortunate issue with a 15 year old vehicle. However as mentioned above, the vehicle is covered under Wynn's Plus Warranty that covers the engine, transmission, drive axel, transfer case, steering, electrical, air conditioning, suspension, coiling, fuel system, brakes, seals and gaskets, and high-tech equipment. The customer was provided with a copy of the Wynn's Plus Coverage as well. The customer can go to any certified mechanic to have this vehicle inspected and repaired. In addition, Wynn's Plus Coverage offers roadside assistane but the customer refused to use this service rather opting to use their own AAA coverage resulting in the above stated $300.00 charge that could have been easily avoided. In regards to the inspection and testing, I was informed by the customer that the vehcile was taken to the Hollar Honda dealership but the customer failed to mention to the dealership that the vehicle was under the Wynn's Extended Care Warranty. The warranty covers all inspections, testing, and repairs. It is the customers responsiblity to take advantage of the warranty.
