Called Gator about a month ago to get our van looked at. He diagnosed it with a bad transmission. Said he could come pick it up that Thursday and tow it to the repair shop where he rents a space. He never showed up Thursday so called him to see what happened, he had a somewhat viable excuse so rescheduled for the next day. Same thing happened. Finally showed up Saturday when he told us he had a transmission coming Monday so we paypaled him $$$$ and he took the van. Called us to say PayPal put a 3-5 day hold on the fund -we confirmed this-so he didn’t work on it. Called him Wednesday after the funds went through to see how it was going. Turned out he never ordered the transmission and by the time the funds went through the one he was going to get had sold but he had another one coming Friday. Said he would start work over the weekend and have it ready for the dealership to program Tuesday but it may take a few days to get an appointment. Called Tuesday and he said he was almost done. Called Thursday to see if he had an appointment and he said he was trying. Called to check again Monday and he said Tallahassee was booked out 2 weeks so he was trying Marianna. Called Tuesday and he said he was in Marianna trying to get an appointment. I called the Tallahassee dealership myself and got voicemail. Called the Marianna dealer and had an appointment for the next day immediately. Called him to say I had an appointment for 9am the next day and the van needed to be there that afternoon. He said he already had an appointment there. He text my husband to say he would have it there that afternoon. Tallahassee dealership called and they were only booked out about 4 days. Since he lied about that I called Marianna back to see if he had made an appointment there. He had not. He did not deliver the van to the dealership. I googled the address he gave as the “shop” he works out of and it is a mobile home. We don’t know where our vehicle is. Owners name is Delbridge *******.
