Written agreement for a price to install a pole barn on my property. Gave him a $3000.00 check, which he cashed, for some parts and now I can't get in touch with him. Called, texted, messages and I've been ghosted. If he isn't going to honor the agreement, then he needs to give me back my money.Initial Complaint

This company took my $3,600 deposit in April, to build a storage building on my property in Oviedo, FL. After many phone calls and texts, of which I can provide copies, as well as the contract, he has now told me to "take it up with my credit card company", knowing full well that they cannot do anything after 5 months. Paid a $3000 deposit to order trusses and cannot get a hold of them. All voicemails are full no one answer his text messages so trying to find a physical address.Initial Complaint

Hired Philip V*** (Blue Steel Contracting) to build a pole barn. Got contract on May 26th, Philip came to our home June 3rd to see were we wanted pole barn built. Gave him a check for $1,590.00. check was cashed June 4th. We were given 3 different install dates June 17th, July 19th, July 26th. On all 3 dates no one showed up. never got a phone call saying sorry something has come up we cant install your barn that day. Communication with Philip, Crystal or Danielle would always take several attempts to get a response. Which would be a text because their voicemail box was full. On Aug 16th I contacted Crystal by text and told her we wanted our deposit back. Yes ma'am I will work on that when I return to work wed. Every response I got after that was Philip has check signed can pick it on Monday and then told a Friday. Got the same run around with Danielle and Philip would never respond. Almost 2 months later, we still have not gotten our deposit back and they have stopped communicating.Initial Complaint

Entered a contract with Blue Steel Contracting, LLC on 5/4/21. Paid a $3,075 deposit. Per our contract it states that install with be within 4-8 weeks. It has now been 17 weeks. We have contacted Blue Steel countless times. We had not heard from anyone from Blue Steel for multiple weeks. Please find attached invoice. Along with a screenshot of their most recent communication (9/7/21), Blue Steel has previously built a barn and done work for us. We were very happy with our previous experience. That is the most frustrating part. We thought we could trust this company. We are requesting a refund to resolve this complaint. Please let me know if you need additional information or documentation. We paid them via QuickBooks and the receipt of the invoice is attached.
