On 2/1/21 i spoke with Phillip V*** about a pole barn, I sent to him all the specifications about the barn, That same day he sent me invoice with the sum to pay of $ 3,045.00 for them to start making the process of the construction plans and ordering the barn kit and then I would submit them to the county office and acquire the permits, I had to send the rest of the money to complete the cost of the barn kit and the labor for, Phillip V*** and company to build it. When I received the plans I noticed that they were wrong since there was nothing of the specifications that we had agreed on and I ended up communicating with the engineering office and explaining what I needed in the plan. The Orange County office asked me for the FL product approval number of the pole barn materials as part of their rules and I contacted the Blue Steel Constracting office many times with the office clerk at Blue Steel Construction Crystal who repeatedly refused to give me the product approval number. I have sent many messages and calls to this company which have never answered me and I really want them to refund my deposit and they stop scamming people, this "company" is a shame and the only thing they are doing is living off the deposits customers make.

BEWARE........In regard to Blue Steel Contracting if I could leave zero starts I would. April 7th I put a deposit on a pole barn, $2000 with the understanding I would pull permit, once I received the engineered blueprints and it would take 6-8 weeks. Due to an error on my part, I uploaded all info into the wrong portal on the county website (I lost three weeks time) the county very kindly directly me on how to do it properly and at that time sent me a form they needed filled out for the specs on the pole barn kit. I sent it to Philip **** explaining I could not move forward on the permit until I had the form filled out by him. He refused to acknowledge it, refused to fill it out. He was pretty nasty in a text exchange telling me it was my error because I was responsible for the permit. I told him I needed it filled out or I would challenge the charge on my credit card. In any event it was the one and only time I ever heard from Mr. **** since April. His office never answers the phone, he does not answer his phone and their voice mail is always full. During this time I spoke to another fellow who also was scammed by Blue Steel, however he had the misfortune of paying his deposit with a company check, I on the other hand paid by CC and although it took me 5 months, I received all my money back. My horse, however stood in the rain all of rainy season. This other man I met told me he has checked into Philip ****'s background, he found out he has had 4 other businesses that have all gone bust, Blue Steel is now too, on Google reviews it shows it as permanently closed. So beware.... this seems to be his MO, start a business, scam as many people as possible and move on. If you see the name Philip **** attached to any business run..... do not walk away. Any positive review about him on this or any other site has to be someone he knows or he does it himself, he is a con artist all the way.

Philip Vest of Blue Steel Contracting LLC did an absolutely amazing job building a Pole Barn my friends church! I will add, this company is extremely busy because they are so good, you might have to wait for them to get to you, but they WILL!! Have patience. It well worth the wait. Hats off to Phil Vest, His crew.
