This guy is a ***** who will lie through his teeth and tell you story after story on why he cant get your project completed even though you put half your money down. I paid $2,600 in December of *************************************************** March of 2023. I called and emailed multiple times for updates and either I was ignored on each attempt or was given a lie of some sort. In August of 2023 I was informed he would give a refund but I have yet to receive it and had to hire a lawyer. I would not recommend this company to anyone, you'd be better off trying to build whatever it is you want yourself.

Owner met and created a contract for work at the property in April 2023. Contract stated work to begin July or August of 2023. Owner requested half of payment down for supplies and that draws would be made once the work began. Provided a cashiers check for $13,000.00. Owner never called to update me on schedule. Called number provided and left several messages beginning in July 2023. No work began.

We hired *** to re-do the floors in our house. He came out, took measurements, gave us a quote and we gave him a check for the work in the amount of $8500. Months went by with no work done and barely any contact. We decided last April we wanted either our money back, the material or a combination of both. We were told many times he would give us both but never did. We have had no contact from him since last May.

The address BBB shows is ******************************************************, but his business is actually located now located at ******************************************************. Mailing address: **************************************************************. My husband, ***************************, and I are both disabled veterans. We signed a contract with Jims Custom Decks for covered front and rear porches on March 7, 2023. Per the contract, work was to commence in August 2023. The total job cost for both porches was to be $13,000.00 and in order to lock in the price and start date, we had to pay 50% up front, which we did. On July 26th, we asked to extend the front porch to make a covered car port, for which he said an additional $1500 would cover it, so we paid him. August rolled around and all we heard was that he was having a hard time keeping staff to complete the amount of work he had lined up. We were put off until the week hurricane ****** hit - we were supposed to have work commence the day of the hurricane. We gave him two full weeks afterward to give us a new start date, which we finally got told he would start it the week before Thanksgiving - but wait! ************ double booked his crew and he wouldnt be able to get to us after all. He had his designer come out to look at our home and draw up the plans. He told us the roof line for the porch would start halfway into the window. How can you walk under a roof that would only allow 5 feet or less of headroom? I called *** to tell him I wasnt sure that design would work. We havent heard any further scheduling or design modifications since. The contract states the deposit is non-refundable (we were told) for building material purchase. How can materials be purchased when there are no plans to go by? I believe we are entitled to either a full refund or the materials which have supposedly been purchased. If the materials are delivered, I expect a receipt to show $8000.00 in building materials.

I ordered and paid for steps and a ramp on oct.4th, 2023. I wrote him a check for the total amount which he cashed on the 5th. They were to be delivered and set up on oct. 27th. This never happened. I left many phone messages with no reply from him. I went up there 2 times and talked to his wife. Each time a promise was made to deliver by that friday. That, also, did not happen. On December 18th, I called the sheriff department. A deputy ***** went and talked to him. *** told the deputy I was a pain in his a##. Deputy ***** called me and said if *** did call me, I needed to file a complaint against him. *** called me on Dec. 19th and was mad that I had called the police. I told him I wanted the product I ordered or my money back. He said, they will be there and set up the following Friday. Of course it did not happen. I called again, no answer. On Jan 3rd. ****, I called the ********** of elder affairs. They referred me to the ******* ********** of *********** and ******** Services. It has been almost 4 months now. I am having surgery soon and need the new steps and ramp asap or my money back so I can order them from someone else. I pray you can make this happen for me. Thank You
