Simply we placed an order at the local McDonald's restaurant drive-thru. We placed an order for one double whopper with cheese, one whopper with cheese and a large order of fries. We paid for those items which was $13.08 with tax. The drive-thru order screen showed the correct items and total. The gal at the payment window read back the order which we paid. The gal at the pickup window read the order back and handed us the bag.. When we got home and unpacked the order we discovered they had given us two (2) regular cheseburgers as indicated by the packaging and size as well as a small fry. I immediately tried calling the telephone number on the received I pt (XXX-XXX-XXXX) restaurant several times. The number went to their answering machine which was full and could not accept any messages. I tried calling for a couple of days with same results. I then noted the X-XXX-XXX-XXXX number which was also on the receipt. The lady I spoke to took my information and said someone would call back. After several days no one had called so I called the 1-800 number again. The lady verified my information again and stated someone would call me back. Waiting again a few days we had not received a call or email so I called again. The lady said she couldn't understand why no one had called and said she would make sure they received my information. I have yet to receive a call or email regarding the issue. Although it seems petty as it is only $6 difference it in my opinion is poor customer service. Any help would be appreciated as we don't normally travel to Chipley except for groceries or doctor appointments.
