      I was approached with the idea of purchasing solar panels this past Spring. During our discussions with a solar panel company (******* it was decided that it was also time for a roof replacement. ****** worked up a contract for both and suggested we use one of their roofing companies. The roofing company that was assigned to our project was Johnson Roofing Solutions. My wife did some online research and found this company to have outstanding reviews, 5 stars across the board. I told ****** I was interested in paying out of pocket for the roof and not financing. They required I pay them up front before the project began. May 2nd I wrote a check to ****** for $29,250 and this was solely for the roof. May 6th was the first day the roofing crew began. From start to finish it took about 6 weeks for our 2,000 square foot roof. Here are some things that happened during or after the project that have raised concern. During construction the electrical mast fell off the house because it was not secured and this resulted in 9 days no power. First small rain storm a leak was noticed inside the front door area. First big rain storm found leaks in 4 additional areas. Concerns are potential mold issues and water damage to insulation and sheet rock. Secured existing gutters improperly during roof replacement. Water and ice shield was not installed. Existing tongue and groove decking was not resecured. Found wood rot in multiple areas underneath soffit. Before the leaks were discovered, we mutually agreed upon a $1,000 refund so I could repair the wood rot myself and $250 for supplies related to the electrical mast issue. Since discovering the leaks, I have attempted to resolve this and the owner has refused to meet with me. My wife also attempted contacting him. Included are some photos showing the damage and email correspondence. We also have videos of the water leaks but are not able to include them.

      As mentioned in the screenshot of the email you provided, I have offered to come repair the leaks that you've mentioned. I just need your permission in order to do so. Once we have received your permission, we will prepare to move forward with this job. Also please note that any untrue statements are considered slander. Many of the statements you have mentioned are not factual and JRS has communications as well as photos to back our stance. We would appreciate this complaint to be removed asap to cease any ongoing legal actions. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
