Renter beware! This apartment complex, and many other properties owned by The Connor Group are predatory in their business practices. You will experience endless maintenance problems, which will not be resolved. They enter apartments illegally without notifying the tenant as the law requires. They overcharge you for trash, sewer, internet, utilities etc. Several neighbors have also complained about black mold that was painted over, altering leases after tenants sign, and showing potential tenants a much nicer unit than the one the tenants will be stuck in. Please visit “Tenants United Against Connor Group” on Facebook before looking into these apartments. You will regret signing a lease with Bayside Arbors, and they will NOT work with you on an early termination. Wish I could give ZERO stars.

I have had a rat issue they failed to handle properly. Dead rats eventually rotting in the walls causing odors. The ** in my unit always leaked eventually flooding my apartment multiple times. The water damage caused discoloration and baseboards to detatch from the walls. Their attempt at fixing this issue was caulking and repainting the baseboards. The unit now has mold. They are not compliant in terminating my lease due to these uninhabitable living conditions. They charge outrageous prices and promise a "luxury" apartment but they do not meet those standards.

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Everything is outdated and overpriced. Maintenance is non existent usually takes 2-3 months to respond, if they respond at all. You literally have to go to the front office and get whatever you need and do it yourself. I went to speak with the front office about the mold growing and the manager said it’s not a priority because “nobody is dying from mold” …Tf DO NOT MOVE HERE! Be prepared to deep DO NOT MOVE HERE! everything twice they do not clean the units in between tenants and half *** make the minor repairs. Your apartment WILL have roaches. DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will be lied to and told you can move out before the end of your lease as long as give the front office 60 days notice to fill the apartment. They will instead bill you for the remaining months rent. The front office is a joke at best. Even if you are desperate DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I went up to Bayside arbors apartments in Clearwater over 3 weeks ago they told me that the money for the apartment that I put down that if I was not approved then the money will be coming back to me so I waited 3 weeks and I called back then they tell me that it would take to 5 to 10 business days before I get my money back then they told me that the place that actually does the refunds are out of Ohio and when they get a tracking number if it would be provided to me I feel like they're not telling the truth I feel like it's a bunch of lies behind it and I didn't go to Ohio to give them my money so I shouldn't have to go to Ohio to get it back any apartment complex I've ever went through I never had to wait almost a month or two before I actually got my money back if I was not approved for the apartment I got my money back the next day

Moved here in 2020. Was great until the new team took over. Trash is everywhere in the complex, maintenance doesn't know how to fix anything. I didn't have an air filter for 2 months due to it being on "back order." I've been waiting 3 weeks for them to fix my door bell. Garage door was broke for 2 months. My DAD fixed it and a leak from my kitchen sink! Maintenance came 3 times to try & fix the kitchen leak. It was a 5 minute & $10 job to fix. The water in my fridge hasn't worked in over a year. Wish they cared about their residents and units here. The pools are always shut down due to lack or maintenance & chlorine levels. This place is getting destroyed. Wish someone else would buy.

DO NOT EVER RENT HERE! Let me explain. **** ******** & ***** **** rented a unit at Bayside Arbors for 2 years. The first year was under a previous owner which was great. The 2nd year coincided with the current owners. The new owners fired the entire maintenance staff and decided to run a "skeleton" crew (1 or 2 men) for a large complex. A very bad idea and a CHEAP move. The last year we were there Our unit had a leak in the guest shower which flooded the Guest bedroom closet causing extensive damage (destroyed books and mementos). The "crack maintenance team response was a fan and dehumidifier. The wallboard was damaged and no check for mold. The upstairs unit flooded our unit 3 times, These floods caused extensive damage to the ceiling, wallboard & carpeting. Repairs were never made. The ceiling was so bad that you could push your finger through it. Needless to say, the water damage caused watermarks. The air conditioning unit was constantly in need of repair. It also caused carpeting damage. Management's answer was once again a fan and a dehumidifier. THEY HAD NO CONCERN FOR MOLD ISSUES. The master bathroom had a leak under the toilet. This was never repaired properly. We needed a pan to be placed under the fixture to prevent more water damage.

The carpeting was cheap and far from "luxury." Due to the many instances of flooding, the carpet would "bubble up" with a hard material which was obviously some sort of chemical reaction. This was never resolved. We decided to move out early and buy a property on 10/21. We paid our rent timely through our lease. When we turned in our keys, we spoke to Meghan the manager. We explained all of our issues with the property. We now received a move-out bill for "carpet replacement" & other bogus issues. While we were tenants, our rent was always paid prior to the due date & were model tenants. Bayside Arbors is a place to stay away from. If we could give this complex a NEGATVE 5 STARS, we would. RENTER BEWARE.!
