      Bobs is my new go to repair facility. Their team is courteous and professional. They provide me with a digital inspection of my cars and show me what needs to be done immediately or what I can wait on since my budget is tight sometimes. Always have a great experience!       Bob’s is clean, professional and always delivers great customer service. They have serviced/repaired my 3 Ford’s, VW Jetta and my Mercedes. Not the cheapest shop but I believe you get what you pay for plus they offer 3year warranty on work. They always stay in communication via text or phone call. Recommend Bob’s Auto Repair to all my friends and family in the area. Thank’s *********, *** and the team!

      I recently had a bad experience dealing with Bob’s Auto Repair in Clearwater. Bob's changed the oil in our 2019 VW Golf. Due to a cracked drain plug from Bobs' oil change, eventually all the engine oil leaked out. The engine oil dipstick registered no oil, so the vehicle was towed to the VW dealer. VW conclusion; the motor oil had leaked out from the cracked drain plug. Note that VW uses a unique plastic oil drain plug that non factory technicians might incorrectly install. The VW dealer cleaned the entire mess up and performed an oil change. I drove the car directly to Bob’s. I dealt with the Manager, (Christian) and explained the situation to him with Volkswagen's findings and repairs. Christian was apologetic for this service mishap and said; no problem they would pay the $83; that I had paid for the second oil change. I have since made several calls and visits to Bob's to obtain said check. Now 5 weeks later I still do not have check. Christian has lost any sense of customer service at this point. He snarls to me over the phone. “He is tired of my bad attitude every time that I phone. “it’s not a different story every time! its the same story, and don’t ever call Bob’s again!! . He hangs up on me. Um… Wow!… I am shocked and a bit numb. Summary; The oil change at the VW dealer was $83.36. Superficially Bob’s was the same price, but add those pesky fees that Bob’s charges of “shop supplies” and “diagnostic aids” and you are up to $97.04, yes… MORE than the dealer charges. And.. did the mechanic’s unfamiliarity with a plastic oil drain plug or installation possibly cause this failure? Think of this one. If you have an issue with a failure with auto service work that you get done at Bob’s, are you going to have an experience like I had? Maybe worse? And, this thought… What do we look for when dealing with an auto repair shop? Price? Integrity? Honesty? In my experience Bob’s has failed all of these benchmarks at every step of the way.

      I would like to sincerely apologize for the unfortunate experience that was encountered with Bob's Auto Repair in Clearwater. It is disheartening to hear about the oil leak that occurred possibly due to a cracked drain plug during the oil change on a 2019 VW Golf, even though a new plug was installed due to the prior service facility over tightening the original. We understand the inconvenience and frustration this situation has caused. However, we want to clarify your complaint that you are not the owner of said vehicle and you did not bring the vehicle to Bob's Auto Repair for service, nor did you pay for any service rendered. You also never contacted Bob’s Auto to afford them the opportunity to address this issue until months later.

      Regarding the issue of reimbursement, I would like to reiterate that the reimbursement has been mailed to our customer, the individual that presented the vehicle for service and yes, we understand that you were involved in the resolution process, in some way. We apologize for any miscommunication or delay that may have occurred during the handling of this matter, however, reimbursement is always provided to the client who brought the vehicle in for service. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

      We take your feedback seriously and understand your concerns about the pricing, integrity, and honesty of our services, though you never personally had your vehicle serviced at our facility. It is never our intention to charge more than necessary or compromise on the quality of our work. We strive to provide transparent pricing and ensure that our technicians are well-informed about the specific requirements of different vehicle models.
