Placed an preorder for 2 - CGC 9.8 comics of Avengers 66 & Ghostrider 20 for $133.57 on October 20 2023. They had a March 2024 turnaround of delivery from CGC to Beachbum to customer. Emailed Dre from ********************** once in April, didnt get a response, emailed a 2nd time May 19 2024 and he texted me his number to call him. I did call Dre, he explained there was an issue with broken deliveries from CGC and the turnaround time changed to June 2024. June 2024 came around and didnt hear anything from Dre. Texted Dre from Beachbum Comics in August 2024 was told he was picking up a 1000 graded comic order from CGC on Friday, told him to please get back to me on Monday. Didnt hear back on that Monday. I emailed Dre last week September 9 asking about my orders and heard nothing. Emailed again on September 14 2024 stating I got a charge back on my order ***** placed in March 2024 for $66.97 and if I didnt hear back from him by Monday morning about order ***** from October 2023, that I would be filing a police report with Clearwater Beach Police that Monday afternoon over the phone. I also have a best friend in the ** in ********** who will go to the police station for me if needed. Theres most definitely fraud, ************ of customer money going on at this point even if the business was being run ok in the past. Were at almost a year now and I cant get a charge back or refund even with proof from Beachbum websites for unfulfilled orders. Beachbum has stolen money from me & other customers. I would say the amount from all of the customers who have been stolen from together from Dre at Beachbum Comics is definitely more than the amount of $750 for a felony theft arrest in ********I will be filing a police report and will be sharing that information with the internet comic book ****************** so more customers have a legal pathway to get their money ********** from Beachbum comics in ****************, ** can be stopped from stealing from comic book fans.Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I talked to Dre at Beachbum on the phone. He has settled our issue and mailed half my order to me, while I wait for the other to arrive from CGC. For anyone with waits close to a year? The Issues are out of their hands and they have no control over how CGC is as a business. Beachbum has to deal with the unfortunate situation of CGC/Blackstone negligences in their business affecting their own business. Wish Beachbum comics the best.

Placed a order on 1/25/24 Sent several emails about the status of this order and no response. Since I haven't received a response I would like to have a refund. I've provided emails with receipts, etc. I really didn't want to do this but I haven't received any response from the company regarding this matter. ********Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I didn't get a response from Beach *** comics regarding this matter for months. Since I didn't get a response I requested a refund. Thanks BBB for getting a response from them but I prefer a refund.

4/23/2023 I placed an order for a cgc graded She-Hulk #** variant edition 9.8. Its been over a year and a half, plenty of time to come back from grading. I have sent numerous emails with no response. At this point I would like my money to be refunded.Business response

On 12 -30-21 and 4-3-21. I ordered two comics , the first one to be signed by a comic artist and then sent off to a CGC to be graded...and the second one just to be graded. This process can take one to two years at the most I did talk to the owner in Feb 2024 about getting a refund with my two orders , and I told him I would like a credit or a refund. And he said ok . So far nothing in the mail or refund on my credit card. And it's now July 2024.Business response

I placed an online order on 8/22/2023 with the business and never received any of the products ordered. The business committed to delivering the 7 individual items I ordered. The nature of the dispute is that I never received any of the items. I inquired about the status of my order three times on 4/20/2024, 6/24/2024, and 7/3/2024 with no response from the business - the business has not made any attempt to resolve the issue.Business response

Beach *** Comics called me directly to apologize for not responding to my requests for order status updates I sent over the last few months and let me know exactly where everything is currently at. They said they will look into why my requests went unanswered for so long. I appreciate the transparency that was provided and should be receiving the products I ordered soon.Sincerely,

I purchased what was a pre-ordered 9.8 comic book. The book was being sent to be slabbed and graded. I have communicated with the businesses through email over the past year and even spoke to the owner in February 2024, as he assured me, "We are doing our best to get our books out." I have not heard anything and recently reached out on June 15, 2024, at 8:10 PM via email. I have not heard anything else, but I continue to receive emails from the business encouraging "pre-orders" and upcoming comics. I have not been able to successfully dispute and receive a refund because of the platform in which I went through "Shopify" as they allow businesses to handle everything, which clearly has not been resolved.Business response

I pre-ordered 2 comics from BeachBumComics on February 3rd 2024. I have reached out to the company twice over the last month with no email back to me. I simply wanted to know the status because other companies have shipped these out already. If they cannot provide the comics I paid for I would like to get my money back. ThanksBusiness response

I placed a pre-order for 3 comics on June 6th. My order number is *****. The comics I ordered are CGC 9.8 Giant Sized * Men 1, CGC 9.8 * Men 101 and CGC 9.8 * Men 35. I paid $187.00. The Giant Sized * Men 1 and * Men ********************************************************************************************* stock. The * Men 35 estimates October as when itll ship. I received one email reply saying they would check and see if the Giant sized * Men 1 and * men 101 were available and that it would be a while on the * men 35. The problem I have is Beachbum comics wont respond to my emails, ******** message and instagram message about my order. I also messaged the owner on ******** and didnt get an answer. The company hasnt updated their ******** or instagram since last year so I dont know if they are still in business. Im asking for an answer from my attempted messages to assure me Im gonna get my purchase or I want a refund to my PayPal at *********************Business response

This complaint is for an order placed Thursday 6/6/24, which was four days ago.We replied to ****************** twice since then. The last email he sent was after staff had left for the day on Friday. **************** replied to the email this morning and ****************** seemed fine with the response.Customer response

Customer has three books on the order. Order ships complete since customer paid one shipping charge, As customer states one book in his order was released at stores a month ago and is not due back from CGC until October.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Have messaged company tons of times with no update, since the time had passed the expected due back I really have no use for these anymore, if I can get an actual time frame for when they should arrive I suppose that should be satisfactory, but in reality a refund would just make everything easier

We have just received a couple of the items in these orders back from CGC in the batch we picked up last week and expect the rest back shortly.
