CUSTOMER BEWARE Unfortunately I did not do my research and due diligence and contacted an individual off of my neighborhood ******** page regarding dryer vent cleaning. As he was the first and only respondent I decided to use his companys services for a discount price of $199 (regular price $299). (I write company because no one ever gave me a company name until time to pay and the company, Air Duct Cleaning Services, is listed out of *****, **).The technician arrived in his personal vehicle with no company logo whatsoever. He worked a bit on my dryer vent inside the house, asked me to show him the outside vent, and spent the next 20 minutes searching the other side of my house only to come to the conclusion that the vent I showed him was the correct one after all. After looking at the outside vent for a bit, the technician advised me that my vent was so clogged they would have to bring in a special piece of machinery to unclog it and it would cost me an additional $349. Since we were already in the process I told him to go ahead. He then proceeded to bring a shop vac into my house, run it for five minutes, and charge me $349 for that additional service.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, AIR DUCT CLEANING SERVICES, OR THESE PEOPLE, FOR ANY OF YOUR VENT CLEANING NEEDS. This was a huge rip off and Id like to make sure none of my neighbors get caught the same way I did.
